Ryan Covers Kelly Thomas Murder Trial

Published On December 14, 2011 | By Ademo Freeman | Articles

Hello out there. My name is Ryan Moore and I will be covering the trial of the two Fullerton police officers charged in the beating murder of Kelly Thomas on July 5TH 2011. He was beat by 6 Fullerton officers including Manuel Anthony Ramos,Case ID# 11CF2575, Jay Patrick Cicinelli -Case ID# 11CF2575, Kenton Hampton, Joe Wolfe, James Blatney, and Seargant Kevin Craig. He was beat so severely in front of 100+ witnesses and multiple cameras, that he fell into a coma before dying 5 days later. After considerable citizen pressure and media coverage 2 of these 6 will be standing trial so far. 3 pending investigations may bring more charges to the other 4 as well.

This case is set for pre-trial December 16TH 2011 at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, Courtroom#C55 at 8:30 a.m.

Kelly’s army, a group of supporters for Kelly and the Thomas family, who did the Fullerton police station protests, lare set to take up their signs again outside the courthouse for this trial. Determined to not allow this to be silent and swept under any rug. The two cops on trial so far are Manuel Ramos, charged with 2nd degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, and Jay Cicinelli, charged with involuntary manslaughter and excessive use of force under the color of authority.

I have lived on the streets myself and am now a Father of two and I couldn’t sit idlely by when I heard Kelly screaming for his father as he was shown NO mercy. I have attended most every protest and action for this cause and will continue to report any updates on this case as the trial goes on. Remember December 16TH is just a pre-trial so we won’t get much in the way of answers or information, but we will get the date that opening statements are set for. I have talked with Ron Thomas, and many others involved in this cause and will be there bright and early throughout this case.

For now I implore you if you haven’t allready to Google, Ask, bing, etc, Kelly Thomas and find out more about this tragic case.  My love goes out to any family who has had to deal with something so horrible as cops, who are suppose to protect, killing innocent people out of fear. The defendants lawyers will be, William Hadden, John D. Barnett, and Michael D. Swartz. The prosecuting OCDA Anthony J. Rauckaukas Jr., and Jim Tanizaki. Stay tuned to CopBlock.org for updates on this case,  if you can please show up to any day of the trial and stand in support

Thank you
- Ryan

Great! We need more neutral oversight of the sycophants-in-blue! Further, we need to prevent authoritarian filth from being put in charge of the lesser filth.

As you are, (a small fraction), aware of the tricks the lame stream media uses to keep decent candidates out of the public eye, you also need to be aware of the swine they “trumpet” as the “best puppet for the job”.

‘Ole “Newt” is nothing more than another doughy McCain, watch the clip and demmand they throw out electronic ballot machines. All they do is make stealing elections in the Fascist States of America that much easier to steal.

I have only worked as a criminal defense lawyer ever since first becoming a lawyer over 10 years ago because I am deeply committed to the protection of civil rights. However, if I could be a prosecutor for a day–or a case–I would very much like to prosecute these cops for the Kelly Thomas murder. I am glad this case is getting the attention it deserves.

We need to change the code of silence. We need to change soveriegnty for law enforcement and police. We need to change the officers bill of rights. We need to change police unions protecting cops under any and all circumstances. Law enforcement needs to be ready able and willing to also enforce law within it’s own community otherwise it has no legitimacy. Cities own governments neerd to stop being afraid of their own police departments and the cities residents need to be able to be free to not need to be afraid of their own police departments as the biggest and baddest street gang there is out there, as it is true that is the way it is now. Police = a gang of thugs in uniform and they are just protected no matter what wrong they do themselves.

The fact is, the system we have leaves MUCH to be desired re; justice. Arrogant “justices” can, (and do), ban evidence from trials which can and often does hamstring the defence and efectively “muffles” any chance for a forum that would expose a crooked law, (illegality of the FED RES/IRS revisionists’ proof of the holocaust hoax..et al), they also have the power to “set-aside” a jury verdict. One glaring example of just how “bought-off” the Supreme Court is/has been deals with the granting of CITIZEN’S RIGHTS to corporations, Santa Clara Co. vs Southern Pacific RR, 1886), Since when does a Democratic Republic give people’s rights to a friggin’ business??!!

    Now we have this filth setting us up to keep the sycophants-in-blue orgasmically happy;

Garo Mardirosian is the attorney handling Kelly’s case. He is also handling the Long Beach his nozzle case police shooting. I hope copblock monitors this case too!

  • fedupwithmorons

Should have been hose nozzle case.

  • fedupwithmorons

We need to make sure the other four cops are prosecuted for their participation in this homicide!

As a protestor at the Kelly’army Saturday protests, I can attest to the fact that these protests Put Kelly’s case out there for the world to hear about.

    Thank you Ryan,

Thank you Ryan for your continued support for justice and follow up of justice. My condolences to the Thomas family. I am truly sorry for your lost, for I was almost murdered in the same fashion, under the same color of authority, in the same Orange County just four months prior.

On March 9, 2011 several Police brutally ordered a K-9 to attack an unarmed, California Registered (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The California Highway Patrol in Orange County then attempted to cover up the incident.

Malik King, a reportedly “LVN since the age of nineteen” and California Registered Nurse since twenty three years of age, is said to have initially attempted to steal a car. Later it was found he was the owner of that Mercedes. What ensued next on the part of several officers goes well beyond the bounds of simply trying to subdue their suspect.

The several police officers ordered a police K-9 to attack him while he was still fastened in his seat-belt, tasered multiple times while the K-9 attack continued for over one minute and thirty seconds, then hand cuffed, slammed to the ground, hog tied, beat and kicked in the head until unconscious. He was then taken to jail, accused of multiple felonies, and had to pay $50,000 for bail.

Despite witnesses and the clear brutality of the beating, tasering, and ordered dog attack, California Highway patrol allowed several officers to remain active and attempted a cover-up.

Violations of federal law occur when it can be shown that the force used was willfully “unreasonable” or “excessive”. By signing this petition you agree that “unreasonable” or “excessive force” was used on Malik A. King on March 9, 2011 in California Orange County.

The beating of Mr. King is sickening and disturbing. The police involved in the beating and cover up must be brought to justice. Tell Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas to thoroughly investigate and prosecute the officers involved in the brutality of Malik A. King,LVN,RN.

still standing strong for justice for Kelly. My friend’s recently lost their 40 year old son to a blood clot that had schizophrenia. I will forever dedicate my work to the cause of schizophrenia because it really hurts me that a child can get this and no one comes forth like they do when a child gets another bad disease, like cancer. This is still Sunne Ann and I never forgetting Kelly.
