All police employees - no matter how well-intentioned some individually may be - operate according to claimed double-standards. The "right" to steal money from others in their community to protect them. Justice can never be arrived at through that institution - not through more oversight boards, different personnel, or police-worn cameras. Incentives matter. A norm that positions some as "rulers" and others as "ruled" is not conducive to liberty. We can do better.
