On December 21st, 2011 Bob Tebo, a bailiff at Cheshire Co. superior court in Keene, NH aggressively arrested two individuals who chose to remain seated when a man wearing a black robe entered the room. One of the two arrested was dragged across the courtroom floor by his handcuffs.
As cameras are “banned” from supposedly “pubic hearings” per a order signed order from Edwin Kelly, the sole footage of this latest example of double-standards is possessed by the bailiffs and those employed at the Cheshire Co. Sheriff’s Department (which has their office in the court building).
Kelly has stonewalled inquiries that seek to uncover his motivations for implementing the draconian camera ban. And despite requests, the footage from Tebo’s latest incident has yet to be provided and complaints made against him remain “under investigation.” It’s probably not a stretch to guess that that’ll go no where. And why would it? When there’s no competition there’s no reason to even attempt good “customer service.”
Instead of being thankful and acting on information provided by those concerned about double-standards, “public officials” have remained standoffish. They haven’t just refused to converse about the situation but have actively compounded the harm by levying additional threats of arrest, should those commanded not move off public property, most-recently going so far as to “ban” one person from the public parking lot without explanation.
It’s as if the legal land of the courtroom spilled outside. These sorts of incidents will not end until authority is no longer granted to Tebo and his colleagues who have acted and continue to act in the wrong.

Much love to JJ Schlessinger who’s latest video Judge Burke Victim Reel inspired me to cut-up this compilation of clear unaccountability by “public officials” at superior court.

I bet if you called them stupid you would be arrested.
Bob looks like he’s about 75-80 years old… and he agressively arrested someone? How agressive did this old man get??? lol
Maybe since he’s an old guy he believes in some of the old ways of showing respect and is annoyed by what he considers as punks.
‘Not showing respect’ isn’t against the law. The police are supposed to enforce laws, not manners.
I have a question: Why would it be a Socialist country because you have to stand in the courtroom when the judge enters, i would call that fascist or somethingelse, Socialism is one of the pures forms of democracy(read the real foundation of socialism, like Marx or Trotskij and not the coldwar American propaganda view of it.
I felt that saying so was very uneducated and really stupid.
It’s called contempt of court. There are rules in a court room. failing to follow them can land you in jail. You’ve got the freedom of speech and the right to protest… would you be surprise if you were arrested and yelling through a bull horn during court that you like little pink unicorns in protest? I would hope not, cause I think every judge in this country would throw you in jail.
Problem here folks, is that you all seem to be hung up on the Bill of Rights and don’t look at the rest of the constitution. You’ve skiped the part about seperation of powers and the powers each branch gets. The case law handed down since the foundation of this country. You can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater.. When the bailif says rise… rise. OR…don’t break the law so you have to be in there. Hard Core criminals get of there asses, why is it so hard for you?
PSOSGT,
If you were a court bailiff, would you obey anything the Judge orders you to do even if it was outrageous, because you would be in contempt of court if you don’t?
What about this:

It’s a shame that Cops are only ROBOTS without a brain, that can be programmed to follow orders only, whether these are right or wrong.
I understand the need to ensure that the rights of every citizen is protected. I defended every Citizens’ Constitutional rights while I served in the Military. I think that there are some disgruntled individuals that will find fault with anything if they are inclined to do so. It is a tragedy that they do not maintain an open mind in why things are done the way that they are.
I find it funny that some of your members feel that the enforcement of speeding and traffic laws have no “victims” you are wrong. Even though there is no individual victim in speeding, society becomes the vicitim. If you think that speeding is victimless just ask anyone who has a loved one that was hit by someone speeding, disregarding a stopsign, or drag racing in the streets.
I suggest that you look beyond any trivial or trumped up/orchestrated “crimes” against your person committed by police officers and really focus on real transgressions against citizens when they occur.
The problem with your argument “Citizen” is this. You, “citizen” claim that with higher speeds there is more danger.. therefore society becomes the victim of speeders. Even though they’ve harmed no one… so by saying that you’re implying that speed is what needs to be controlled. Therefore, shouldn’t we just outlaw driving all together? Why even give anyone the chance to speed, OR why not make cars that only go five miles an hour??? How about we put road bumps every ten feel to make sure people walk, which is safer, instead of driving?
I bet you say all those things are silly.. and you should just obey the law. But speeding laws are silly, they aren’t there to protect people from getting in accidents – because signs are unable to prevent accidents, as accidents happen. We can’t stop that, but what we can do is hold people accountable for their actions. No more speed limits and no more tickets. But if you cause damage to another person, you need to make that person whole.
Nice way to gloss over the personal responsibilty part of what I am saying my narrow-minded friend. Yes the speed limit is there to protect citizens. If some jerk is driving at 90 mph in a residential neighborhood, interstated or anywhere else everyone he passes is in danger whether he hits anyone or not. Speeding laws are made just to protect the public at large. Simple logic: (if you can follow me that is) greater speeds means less reaction time= less chance to avoid a collision with someone that is or is not obeying the law.
If I shot a gun at your low browed forehead and didnt hit you, would you feel like you were in danger? Should I be arrested and charged or should I be let go just because I didn’t hit you? That example is over simplified but your logic is off track. Instead of fixing the problem after someone’s Dad, Mom, Child, etc is killed or maimed we act responsibly and follow the law before that happens?
