I was on my way home from work when I noticed some police activity. So I stopped and got out my camera. It wasn’t long after I started recording that I drew the undivided attention of Deputy Krow of the Clay County Sheriff’s office. Deputy Krow seems to be genuinely puzzled by the concept of a citizen recording public officials performing their jobs. Deputy Krow demands some ID and I decline. At that point, in Deputy Krow’s mind, I have committed CONTEMPT OF COP! Deputy Krow provides us with some hilarious content! Enjoy.

The police are selectively accosting citizens simply for peacefully and orderly exercising their 1st Amendment rights to journal the public performance of public servants in a public area. This is to chill the exercise of the First Amendment by the intimidation.
Is there a law that says a cop must give their name and badge number? if there is why didn’t the other officer who responded immediately handcuff and arrest the first police officer for breaking the law?
Thank’s for posting my video CopBlock!
PSOGT what is your opinion of this interaction?
The police in the video were respectable toward you. I don’t see any issues with the behavior of anyone in this video.
@Grant Police Discretion. There is a law against Marijuana possession too, but if you have a single joint, the police commonly take it and let you go.
I’ve got no idea why they even crossed the road to talk to you. I wouldn’t have unless I was bored and simply wanted to chat with someone. I’m too busy most days to stop and make contact with someone simply holding a camera. If I did my question would most likely be, what ya up to? And if your answer was just as you said, I would say cheers, get back in my car(since I wouldn’t be making contact with someone across the street till after my call) and leave. I honestly think there are alot of cops who get thier panities into abunch of a camera, and on the simplest of things. And I also think alot of the vids that show good cops don’t make in on the internet.
Question to you, if the cop hadn’t crossed the road, would we be seeing this?
@psosgt. Of course they wod not show the video. That would not benefit their purpose. We are vidoe recorded all the time and unless a crime scene is crosses or they become a hazars (blocking traffic, walling up on us while performing our duties) we did not engage them. Recording our actions is mot illegal, hell, I welcome it. If something goes wrong I can subpoena the video for evidence, or seize the video and return the camera. Officers need to relax when their recorded. If they aren’t doing anything wrong, its no big deal.
All you sycophants-in-blue…..Watch the clip, THINK of the clip and apply it to your acts of treason.

@paschn. Dude. You are a ranting moron. I gave you the benefit of the doubt a few times, but dang! You’re the type of closed minded person that gives the legitate protestor a bad rap. I bet you’re the guy who turns a peaceful demonstration into a riot with your mouth. Why don’t you stop the ne calling and put up real facts. Not BS pulled up on other cop hater sites, real support. Hell, throw some legit numbers in as well.
PSOGT,thank you for your thoughts, and to answer your question no the video would never seen the light of day.
However if Deputy Krow would have done what you said you would have done. I would have posted it. I have no problem posting my positive interactions with LEO’s
Please check out my YouTube channel and you will see that I am telling the truth.
Thanks again for your opinion
I agree with PSO and 10-8, I don’t understand why some officers get all wound up over being video taped. I think it’s great. I have a camera running in my car, and I personally purchased a body cam. The more the merrier in my opinion.
All I ask is don’t insert yourself into my call or stop and possibly create a dangerous situation. And please don’t intentionally antagonize me to elicit a response.
just wanted to say how interesting i find your youtube posts. keep up the good works.
