A few years back when I was only 17 years of age, I was well known as a everyone’s hero and best friend in the city of Blacksburg, Virginia. I helped everyone I met, I was young, strong and full of energy and did a great service to my community. I was a member of the Rescue Squad, the Jr Firefighters club, did communty service projects and was on my way to earning an Eagle Scout and a Black Belt in Koykoshin Karate. All of the boys my age looked up to me and the girls all wanted to date me up until the point that I saved a life.
On Febuary 2, 2005 little did I know that my life was about to change forever. One of my ”friends” was very troubbled and he attempted to take his life by burning himself to death in his own home!! Doing what I did best I dashed into the burning structure, picked up and carried his unconscious body before his own flames could reach him and then I called my buddies in the Fire Department to put it out. My ”friends” in the fire department put out the blaze, investigated it, and found out that it was an arson case and called the Blacksburg, Va police.
Since they found out that we were the only two possible supects, I wasn’t surprised that I would get a sern talking to and a good hard interigation but I never imagined that it would be an illegal one!! The Blacksburg cops tried using some of their basic sneaky taktics to in order to get me to confess. Accusing me of lying by intentionally forcing me to mis-speak about detials and for giving a time range instead of the exact second, minute, and hour in which things occured in my statement and to my astonishment, the more respectful I was to them the more harsh and disrespectful they were to me. What happed next really shocked and stuned me to a whole new level!!! They said, ”Umm-kay motherfucker!, Everyone around here might consider you to be some big goddamn hero we can see the type of pice of shit scumbag that you really are!! Your 17, your white, and you reported the fire! That matches every charateristic in the profile of an arsonist as well as the fact that you’ve got a bad case of hero-syndrome since your always tying to be ”Mr. Good Guy, look at me! I saved the day!!”(in scoffing voice) and nearly all arsonist have hero-syndrom as well! Now I don’t have enough evidence to bring you to justice since arson is a crime in which all the evidence dissapears but I am more than goddamn willing to comit every fucking illegal act in the book just to pin the crimes on you and send your sorry scumbag ass into prison. Once I get your fingerprints I can place them on anything that I want! I found a gun that shot and killed a man today, does that sound good to you!!!!!!! I’ll make your Dad look like a rapist and your Mom look like a whore pin them for rape and prostitution! Do you want to do that to your family or do you want to confess!!?
I didn’t lie to them about anything but the Blacksburg police to this day have been the very worst cops that I have ever dealt with. I got exieled from my community because they convinced everyone that I was a crimminal and to this day I am still on the naational black list from joining a fire department and my life is still f*cked up even six years later. I went through a long trend of negative thinking and made it my life’s new mission to be a complete lowlife since decent and successful men are just targets for american society. Along my journey I met some decent Cops who let my true offences go and even threw themselves in front of my own guilitines and risked their careers just to spare me from my own self-induced fate after I had been honest, repectful, and forthright about my misconduct. One even let me off on a False Police Report involving two cities and perswaded them to let me go!!!
Inorder to thank the Cops that helped me, I plan to become one of the Men in Blue myself and become the Peoples Officer in order to persue true justice on the real crimminals like the one I saved and to show the public and other Officers what a Real Cop Should Be!!! I would also love to show those ex- army drill sergeants (yes nearly all of them were drill sargents) basterds in Blacksburg Va that I CAN do their jobs better than them!!!

I was put in a maximum treatment facility for pyromania as a youth. THERE WERE THREE EX JR FIREFIGHTERS THERE FOR STARTING FIRES TO BE PUT OUT! So in the end they would look like a hero.

I know BFD and this never happened. There was no Junior Firefighters Club in Blacksburg in 2005. No arson reported in 2005 other than a Koran burning.

I’m with G. Asher. I can believe the story, even if it does sound like it might be at least a little exaggerated, but the spelling and grammar in this article is terrible.
Same. My friend got a drunk in public at a party in Blacksburg, the one black kid in the paddywagon was left moaning without a bathroom for hours, handcuffed on the floor until he wet himself. Then in the station he got bumrushed and thrown into a wall by two cops for somehow miraculously launching a spitball while handcuffed (spoiler, it never happened).
Another time we saw another black guy with another drunk in public get lifted off the ground from behind by his cuffs and dropped face first onto some steps.
Dear black people, the old south is most certainly in effect in Billyburg.

Ademo…. you know damn well this wouldn’t work. This “private police force” is a good idea in “theory”. But financially and legally, it wouldn’t work.
There are several things you can do as a citizen. One of the most effective in the long run, in my opinion, is to work on reduction of police funding. Stop the grants for SWAT equipment, and militarization. Work on eliminating police pensions and health benefits (why should they get them, we don’t). Work with town or city government to defund equipment purchases, etc. Make them justify any requests for increased funding or personnel, or equipment.

If you explained occurences to the police this same way, it is litle wonder they are convinced you lit the fire. Although not 100% accurate in every single case, there are some definite and proven correlations between certain personality types and involvement in crimes such as arson. What is known as “self-aggrandizing” behavior is a prime indication that arson investigators are trained to look for. Your description of your actions is right out of the pages of a super-hero comic book (that hasn’t been edited yet), and that is what makes up self-aggrandizing behavior. And although I have no problem believing that a cop would threaten, or even carry out a threat, to plant fingerprints, from that point on you sound a bit less creditable, and more in need of medication and/or therapy.
Good luck with your career aspirations, however I think you might face a formidible obstacle in terms of the psychological evaluation.
All of you reading this might think me harsh, but the fight we face to retain our freedoms and rights and to be free from a police state is hard enough. We don’t really need this kind of “help”. IMO.

@thinkfreeer: That seems a bit harsh. I mean, not all police officers are that bad, nor do all of them deserve to lose their pensions or health benefits. And what kind of pensions and health benefits are we talking about here? If they’re overboard, then maybe they could use some cuts, but I don’t know. I just don’t see why completely eliminating them for all police is justified.
Try to find a private job where you can even get a pension, or have all your health benefits paid for. They didn’t deserve these things in the first place (nor did nay other public official). They should get equivalent benefits, not special ones. I get a 401K with a small company contribution. I have to pay about $800/month for health insurance – the company pays another part. Where is the justice in making me also pay for generous public officials’ pensions and health insurance in total?
It has nothing to do with any police officer being bad. They have a legitimate purpose in our society, and we should pay for that. But it should be fair, not generous. We should fire any police officer that abuses his or her position, or is actually a danger to the public. They get NOTHING! Being a police officer is not a power trip. The primary duty of government is to protect us and our liberty. Not to control us.
