As the CopBlock Network grows so does our ability to offer new items in the CopBlock.org store. This not only helps our ability to further spread the message that, “Badges Don’t Grant Extra Rights” but your ability to do the same too, it’s truly a win, win situation. It’s nearly a guarantee that while wearing a CopBlock.org “Film the Police” or “Am I Free to Go” design (in either t-shirt, long sleeve or hoodie) someone is going to say something to you. Normally these encounters are positive like a, “Nice shirt man” or “I agree 100%.” Which opens the door to a polite response of, “Thanks, feel free to visit CopBlock.org.” Or if you really want to spread the message, ordering or printing, your own “CopBlock.org business cards” (or other flyers) is the way to go. That way when folks compliment your CB gear you can promptly give them a little information about their rights with the police (normally a few of these make it into each order anyways).
So what’s new at the CopBlock.org Store this month? Several things but most notably, the release of the “FILM THE POLICE” hoodie. When we first relaunched the store we were unable to get all four designs in hoodies; due to additional cost. Now that we’ve been had a few months under our belt with good sales we’ve got all FOUR current designs in stock for not only hoodies, but t-shirts and long sleeve as well.
We’ve also brought back the CopBlock.org bracelets, made by 24hourwristbands.com of medical grade silicone, which are half blue half black with white text reading, “Badges Don’t Grant Extra Rights – CopBlock.org” These will be added to any order of $15 or more as a token of our appreciation for your support of the CopBlock Network but you can also get them in single or bulk orders – as low as $1/bracelet with Free Shipping. Just two more ways to help spread the message and help raise awareness about police accountability.
Last but not least, we’ve added a few new stickers to the CopBlock.org sticker family. First, we dropped the “This is what a police state looks like” but may bring it back with a new design in the future, we’ve replaced that design with a much more direct message – “F=ck the Police” sticker. We also brought back the the traditional “CopBlock.org” bumpersticker. So now you can reduce the number of bullshit traffic stops you have to subject yourself to, but simply placing one or two of these stickers on the back of your car. No joke, I know it’s kept me from a stop or two. They also look good on computers, refrigerators and/or public property.
We have a few more designs to bring back to the store before moving on to other items, for example, “I [rec] Cops” is set to make a return (hopefully in the next few months). We also have a design made up for a “Know Your Rights” shirt and there’s the possibility of a “F=ck the Police” going up. If you have feedback, suggestions or an idea for an item simply contact us here.
