Jeffrey Weinhaus Shot & Caged by Predators in Missouri

Published On September 12, 2012 | By Pete Eyre | Articles

Short Overview

Jeffrey Weinhaus sought to inform others about government agent abuses. Through his newsletter Bulletinman and later, through a YouTube channel of the same name, Weinhaus lambasted ‘public’ servants more keen on serving themselves. In August of 2012, after posting a video in which he demanded that those in the “justice” system shape-up or step-down, Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) employees Henry Folsom and Scott Mertens stole Weinhaus’ computers.

On September 11, 2012 Folsom called Weinhaus and told him to meet him at a gas station in St. Clair, MO to receive back his computers. Seconds after exiting his vehicle, Weinhaus lay on the ground in a pool of blood, shot four times by Folsom – twice in the chest, once in the neck and once in the head. Weinhaus was helivaced to a St. Louis hospital and later recovered. The incident was “investigated” by MSHP employees – colleagues of the shooters – and a three-day trial was held October 08-10, 2013 where Weinhaus was said to be guilty of four charges. On November 25, 2013 Keith Sutherland told Weinhaus he’d spend the next 25-years+ caged.

Weinhaus is a political prisoner who was targeted because he spoke out against those who claim the right to control others. Weinhaus didn’t harm another person or property. Where there is no victim there is no crime. This situation can be described as a classic case of police employees protecting their own.

Man Who Threatened Government Officials Shot By Police Near St. Clair by Ed Pruneau emissourian.com

September 12, 2012, 4:30am:

From Central Missouri Cop Block:

Jeffrey Weinhaus

It seems we have a developing story. Jeffrey Weinhaus [born October 6, 1966], a member of Central Missouri Copblock, has been gunned down by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Jeff was working on and had a lot of info incriminating info on surrounding Leos and various departments.

A friend and I, that both knew Jeff personally, were discussing this event and this is what he had to say…

“He named highway patrol cops by name. we have been exposing them all. we have been physically trying to wake the masses and start this party before they do. they start it, its game over from the start. he was armed, that is true. he was very fucking scared, and wasn’t leaving home without one. he was going to meet the troopers. there was no warrant, yet the news says there is, so meh. they called him there to meet and shoot him, and they did.”

From KMOV.com: Missouri trooper shoot suspect in St. Clair

A suspect was shot multiple times by a state trooper south of St. Clair on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

The highway patrol is not releasing the man’s name but News 4 has learned he is Jeffrey Weinhaus.

We are told he was meeting with two troopers for a pre-arranged meeting, but came armed with a gun.

Weinhaus was meeting with two troopers from the MHP’s division of crime and drugs out of Troop-I in Rolla.

The meeting was taking place in the parking lot of an MFA gas station on Highway K south of St. Clair around 1 p.m.

The highway patrol says Weinhaus got out of his car armed and started walking toward the troopers.

There was a confrontation and the troopers opened fire.

Weinhaus was flown by helicopter to mercy hospital in st. Louis in critical conditon.

No officers were injured during the incident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.

One of Jeff’s most-recent updates to his Facebook profile:

September 12, 2012, 11:10am:

Jeffrey Weinhaus spoke out against the injustice he saw, most of which came from judges, police, bankers and others. Though all his views may not mesh with everyone (who’s do?) he was spot-on about the corruption and double standards inherent in the criminals justice system.

He shared his perspective via a http://bulletinman.com and YouTube channel http://youtube.com/bulletinman, which has 157 subscribers, 87,000 channel views, and the following “About” language “The world as I see it. Jesus is coming and you are being lied too. Wake-up and realize your enemy is within.”

Below is his video posted on August 16th, 2012.

September 12, 2012, 12:50pm:

I called Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to solicit more information about the incident that happened the day prior. Not too surprisingly, Al Nothum, the “public information officer”, wasn’t too public with the related information. Just imagine if this situation would have been different.

Do you think the names of the shooter(s) would have been withheld for so long? That the details surrounding an incident that caused a person to be airlifted to a hospital with two shots to the chest and one to the head would be summarized by saying a “confrontation” occurred? Might the shooter(s) in this incident be afforded double standards due to his place of employment?

September 12, 2012, 3:45pm:

An update from Central Missouri Cop Block:

I need to make something perfectly clear about the current situation on Jeff. For him, it’s over.

Even tho he was going to meet with investigators and the fact he was shot down does NOT mean that his troubles are over once he gets out of the hospital. The cops will see to it that Jeff will be charged for something or that he will have acted out of the norm. Either way Jeff will be put in prison or committed, his war is over.

Cold, hard, messed up fact!

We need to step up and take hold of the information Jeff had or find out what it is that Missouri Leos are so worried about. We need to be on the front lines if we see something the police are doing wrong and report/film/spread the word about it. We need to be in the shadows gathering the information about wrong doing and if you have to write it down as to not forget the details.

Some of the best information is out there right in the open for all t see. It’s just that some fail to see it, others feel need to ignore it thinking it doesn’t pertain to them only to complain later, when it spreads, that they have been wronged. Sometimes the information is hiding in plain sight.

I as well as others have tried to get information about Jeff and of course are hitting the “No more information to be released” brick wall. As things come to light I will be posting them.

Peace and be safe.

EMPHASIS: Officer Involved Shooting

Captain Sarah L. Eberhard, director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, informs the public of the following incident:

On September 11, 2012, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control obtained a felony arrest warrant for Jeffrey R. Weinhaus, 45, of St. Clair, MO. The warrant was for possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a judicial officer, and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. Two DDCC officers arranged to meet Weinhaus in the parking lot of a business in Franklin County near his residence. Weinhaus arrived and then exited his vehicle. The troopers observed a holstered pistol on Weinhaus’ side. The troopers issued verbal commands for Weinhaus to move his hands away from his pistol. However, Weinhaus unstrapped the holster and began to draw the weapon. Fearing for their safety, the troopers fired at and struck Weinhaus. After securing Weinhaus, the troopers provided medical assistance until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel. Weinhaus was transported to a St. Louis area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control investigation is ongoing.

Interesting in light of the following that was submitted to Cop Block by one of Jeffrey’s closest friends:

He is still alive. He has opened his eyes and showing some signs of emotion… I’ll keep you updated. I will say this. There is a piece to this story that isn’t in the news…Jeff was on the phone when he was shot. We have a recording of the whole shooting, and the conversations that took place after he was shot. The person he was talking to recorded the whole thing. The cops stripped all Jeff’s personal belongings. His wallet, phone, wedding ring, all of it stripped and missing. They knew Jeff was recording. They just didn’t notice the phone to his ear…:)smile. Jeff wasn’t stupid. He called one of us, and we recorded the incident as it happened. The recording of the audio already has 50 copies made, in different places with contingencies in place. A lawyer has the master. This is gonna get ugly when we finally let this out. They murdered him, and we can prove it. Almost. I think he will live, though. I really do.

September 14, 2012, 3:00pm:

It’s been reported to Cop Block that Mike Arthur – friend of Weinhaus – has been arrested. We’re trying to ascertain the charges levied and the individuals responsible.

UPDATE: Grand Jury Indicts Weinhaus by Ed Pruneau at emissourian.com

December 1, 2012:

This update is the beginning of the post Jeffrey Weinhaus, Now Recovered from MO State Patrol Shooting, Indicted

Last week Jeff Weinhaus, who had recovered from being shot three times by individuals employed at the Missouri State Patrol, had a hearing scheduled that he hoped would reduce the ransom on his head for his freedom-of-movement.Weinhaus never had that day in court. And his ransom was not only not reduced, it was increased by 500%, to the (cash-only) amount of 250,000FRNs.

That change was due to conclusions reached the day prior by a  “grand jury” who “indicted” Weinhaus of eight actions deemed “illicit”, including “attempted assault on a law enforcement officer”.

As has been my contention since first learning of Weinahus (he was involved to some extent with Central Missouri Cop Block though I didn’t know him) – this situation reeks of a lack of accountability.

The person claiming to impartially administer justice is Gael Wood. The article also apologizes for previously communicating inaccurate info – that Weinhaus’s bond had been raised from 50,000FRNs to 250,000FRNs.

February 6, 2013:

As part of The Cop Block Tour, many locations associated with Jeffrey Weinhaus’s situation were visited, including:

  • Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I, in Rolla, MO (where the shooters work)
  • L&S Wholesalers in Bourbon, MO (where Weinhaus friend Mike Arthur, who too has been harassed for vocalizing the corruption of area “law enforcement”, works)
  • MFA Oil, near St. Clair, MO (where Weinhaus was shot)

Jeffrey Weinhaus: “I had a camera set up in my car. Why don’t they have video?”

Among other things, we learn that it was the “governor” of Missouri who initially took issue with a video Weinhaus had posted in mid-August, and that Weinhaus had a videocamera in his vehicle that recorded the interaction.

Jeffrey Weinhaus Search Warrant by CopBlock

Jeffrey Weinhaus Indictment by CopBlock

March 2, 2013:

Jeffrey Weinhaus sent a writ of replevin on September 6th, 2012 to a number of people, including Henry Folsom, about the computers that were taken from his property on August 22, 2012. Couching his perspective on his inherent right to free speech, Weinhaus demanded the return of his property on September 11.

Yet on that day, at a pre-arranged meeting outside a gas station in central Missouri, Folsom initiated even more force. Instead of receiving back his stolen property as he thought would happen, Weinhaus received lead from Folsom’s pistol (an incident “investigated” by his colleagues at the MSHP).

Jeffrey Weinhaus: Writ of Replevin

March 03, 2013:

When Henry Folsom and Scott Mertens went into Weinhaus’ property and stole his computers, cameras, and substances deemed ‘illicit,’ they had failed to inform Gary Toelke, the sheriff of Franklin County, pursuant to Missouri statute 43.200. It’s telling that a “law enforcer” chooses not to follow the “law” when convenient, and it calls into question the legality of their actions and the subsequent shooting of Weinhaus.

Letter from Franklin Co Sheriff Gary F. Toelke to Jeffrey Weinhaus by CopBlock

March 8, 2013:

A short video overview and some accompanying text of Weinhaus’s situation was posted to YouTube.com/541heavy

Jeffrey Weinhaus is accused of 2 counts of attempted assault on a police officer, 2 counts of armed criminal action, and 1 count of felony resisting arrest.

This video and accompanying audio demonstrates that the story told to the public by the Troopers was a lie. Had Weinhaus been going for his pistol, the Troopers would have told him to keeps his hands away from the pistol. but they didn’t do that. Instead, the Troopers ordered Weinhaus to get on the ground. -This would have come as a surprise to Weinhaus as the purpose of the meeting was to have the Troopers return his computers. -Not to make an arrest.

March 11, 2013:

There are so many factors related to this incident and Weinhaus’s continuing legal land venture, and with new documents and conversations with individuals involved, this two-part video* – The Jeffrey Weinhaus Overview – was created to make it easier to get up-to-speed on his situation, to ultimately help bring about real accountability.

Clips from many raw videos were incorporated into these videos. To watch the raw, unedited versions, and to find out how you can help Weinhaus, see: http:/CopBlock.org/TheJeffreyWeinhausOverview

March 13, 2013:

The Report of Investigation submitted on Sept. 11, 2012 by Henry Folsom, the Missouri State Highway Patrol employee who last September shot Jeffrey Weinhaus, has made it’s way to Cop Block.

It communicates many outright lies by Foslom, and brings many questions to the forefront. Also disclosed is that also present at the Sept. 11 exchange were two FBI employees (Mike Maruschak, Patrick Cunningham) and at least two witnesses.

This post includes an embed of the five-page upload, along with some analysis of Folsom’s claims.

It was just pointed-out that Weinhaus wasn’t the first person who has Folsom shot.

Henry Folsom – Weinhaus shooter – Shot Another Man 12yrs Ago

March 16, 2013:

The text narrative given by Henry Folsom in September on a report differs on integral point, from that used by Robert E. Parks in November on an indictment.

Folsom is caught in a lie. In legal land that’s called perjury. He should be held accountable and Weinhaus, who has been held in a cage for months, should be freed.

Proof of Perjury – Henry Folsom, Jeffrey Weinhaus shooter, caught in Lie

March 19, 2013:

At a pre-trial conference the bond levied at Weinhaus was raised from 50,000FRNs cash-only to 250,000FRNs case or surety.

What that means is that, if a bondsman posts 10,000FRNs through an insurance company, Weinhaus would be freed from his cage prior to his trial date (April 30, 2013). That money would be lost if Weinhaus was found to violate his orders.

March 23, 2013:

AUDIO LEAK: After shooing Jeffrey Weinhaus Henry Folsom gives accurate recount, boasts

March 24, 2013:

It seems likely that the firearm Weinhaus had on his person when he was shot on September 11, 2012 by Henry Folsom was a 9mm in a paratrooper-style holster (which, with a strap, is not a quick-draw design). This information is different than that shared previously, when it was believed that Weinhaus open carried a .22 revolver.  Of course, this fact should be easy to prove, one way or the other, were the inventory list or the video captured by the camera Weinhaus had recording in his vehicle released.

Gael D. Wood is no longer the “judge” on the case; he has been replaced by Keith M. Sutherland. Sutherland is known as a “senior judge” as he had retired and is for whatever reason being placed on the case. As has been pointed-out by someone familiar with this arrangement, “senior judges” often operate with even less oversight than is afforded by many to judges, as they are not subject to impeachment, they don’t stand for election, so there’s no worry they’ll loose their pension.

March 25, 2013:

This video was ripped via http://keepvid.com and uploaded to http://youtube.com/thecopblock to help expose more people to Jeffrey Weinhaus’s situation. It was originally posted to http://youtube.com/541heavy which had this text description:

During my analysis of the 23 minute -5 second video documenting the shooting of Jeffrey Weinhaus by Sgt. Folsom of the Missouri State Highway Patrol on September 11, 2012, I discovered this abbreviated report of the shooting, given by Sgt. Folsom to “George” less than 2 minutes after the shooting took place. That audio record demonstrates that Sgt. Folsom lacked any lawful justification for shooting Jeffrey Weinhaus. It was not until after the shooting that any allegation about Weinhaus opening the holster to his lawfully carried sidearm was first created. To make things even more bizarre, Sgt. Folsom claims that after the shooting him took the pistol from Weinhaus’ hand, and shoved it back into the holster.

March 29, 2013:

Weinhaus is slated to trial on April 30, 2013. It’d be excellent to have his proceeding recorded.

The way it works in Missouri is that a volunteer Media Coordinator receives and passes-along such requests to the person who is to oversee the case.

If you’re within driving distance of Union, MO and you have a camera please send an email to “[email protected]” that includes something similar to:

Per Court Operating Rule 16, please let this serve as notice of my intention to film the trial of Jeffrey Weinhaus, scheduled to begin on April 30th, 2013, at Franklin Co. court.

Be sure to include your contact information. And you may want to proactively state that when filming, you will not film those in the jury – that your camera will remain stationary and will frame only the judge, the person testifying and the person questioning.

Ultimately, I’m told, it’s up to the discretion of the “judge” to allow or disallow filming. Ideally we can collect video. That way notes need not be taken, and those not-able to attend in-person can watch the video – an objective source – rather than depend on the interpretation of someone present. If filming is not allowed it’ll yet again, show the lack of transparency about the whole process.

March 30, 2013:

Henry Folsom and Scott Mertens worked from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I office, in Rolla, MO. When questions were posed to the colleagues there, rather than be transparent, the pointed to this pre-printed  document, which directed all questions to Franklin County prosecutor, Robert Parks.

April 6, 2013:

Jeffrey Weinhaus Seeking Donations For Lawyer

jeffrey-weinhaus-donate-copblockJeffrey Weinhaus was shot by Henry Folsom on Sept. 11th, 2011. Why? Was Folsom really afraid for his life as he claimed or did he have plans to shoot Weinhaus even before the pre-arranged meetup happened?

What is certain is that the “official” story is full of holes. Objective evidence that has emerged since the shooting proves that’s the case.

Yet Weinhaus is still facing a number of charges. Those around him believe the retention of a lawyer will be a game-changer. Already a few thousand toward that goal have been raised but about 2,200FRNs is still sought.

Become familiar with the situation at CopBlock.org/JeffreyWeinhaus and if you’re able and so-inclined, make a donation to help. As the associated text description notes, This is not just about Jeff. It is about police accountability. If you’re not able to help financially, consider sharing his story with those in your sphere. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE Jeffrey Weinhaus, Caged for 9mo, Slated for 3-day Trial in October

Weinhaus has pretrial on September 12 and is slated to have a three-day jury trial beginning October 8th. You’re encouraged to join him on the ground to show support – both days begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Franklin Co. Courthouse, 401 East Main St, Union, MO.

Robert Parks, the prosecutor arguing that Weinhaus should be caged, has filed a motion to amend two charges – from Weinhaus allegedly attempting to assault Folsom and his colleague, to Weinahus attempting to use a weapon against Folsom and his colleague. Parks is trying to mischaracterize Weinhaus as an attempted cop killer.

There is a new rule at the Franklin County courthouse that forbids people taking recording devices or even cell phones into the court room. This is one of the reasons that it is very important that people show up at the trial and take notes.  We need to have many witnesses to the event, so that if there is a question about what occurred or what was said, there are plenty of people to corroborate the facts

For proceedings held at Franking County Courthouse, those who wish to film are told to inquire not at the court but of the court contact – an area media contact tasked with that role – Bill Miller, Jr. If you will make it to the courthouse to support Weinhaus and want to film, email Miller at [email protected] and ask him to ask Judge Sutherland for permission to video and/or audio record. It can’t hurt to ask.

Weinhaus “Guilty” – the Legaland Charade Continues

Two weeks back in central Missouri, Jeffrey Weinhaus – Inmate #2012-4030 at the Franklin County Jail – was transported to the Franklin County Court. After three days in legaland a group of people there said that Weinhaus was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of the allegations made against him, and suggested that he be caged for over six decades. It was a scenario – the theft of Weinhaus’s computers, the shooting, and the levying of charges against Weinhaus – that never should have happened.

November 01, 2013:

Over a year has passed since Jeffrey Weinhaus was shot four times in a central Missouri gas station parking lot at a pre-arranged meeting. Weinhaus was rightly concerned about his safety due to the ongoing harassment faced by Folsom and his ilk and thus arrived with his spywatch recording. Previously only a short excerpt of that recording been shared, yesterday the full video was posted by YouTube.com/MrWoundWeaver

Predators in Missouri Cage Jeffrey Weinhaus For 25+ Years

This past Monday – November 25th, 2013 – Keith Sutherland told Weinhaus he was to be caged for 30-years each for armed criminal action and assaulting a law enforcement officer (LEO), two years for felony drug possession and one year for misdemeanor drug possession – sentences that will run concurrently. (The assault on a LEO mandates that Weinhaus be caged for at least 85% of the time, hence the 25-years minimum Weinhaus is facing.)

As always, the troopers were in fear for their lives.

It’s funny that the cops came armed and we’re supposed to be okay with it, but when a citizen comes armed it’s newsworthy.

  • showmebby

I will be very interested to see the dash cam video . Are we to believe that he rolled up on troopers wielding a gun in the air trying to harm some one. I bet not. Its always very suspicious when some one that is investigating the police gets shot by them , no?

  • spirit of 46

Why is it that cops claim they should get paid more because they “Put our lives on the line for YOU” but when things like Columbine happen the police won’t enter the building to stop the slaughter because “We can’t go in there-it will put our lives at risk”. Isn’t that double talk?

  • spirit of 46

Don’t bother telling them you are recording them-Missouri is a ONE-party consent state. That means only ONE-party in the recording (In this case YOU) needs to give consent. If you gave yourself consent to record the conversation you are fully compliant with state law.

  • Burn The Obedient

As information becomes available, hopefully this gets found as wrongful shooting by the police. I have met Jeffrey and he is not the “radical” the news describes him as.

  • Burn The Obedient
  • Rita

Don’t worry, folks, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. I’m sure they’ll find that the shooting was somehow, in some way, at some level of insanity, justified. Good Christ, what this country has come to.

  • SFCRetired

Of course he is a “radical” and so are you and so am I. Any of us who dare to question the government are “radicals”. We are in very good company. Look back at the Founding Fathers; they were all considered to be “radicals” in their day.

This case sounds like he may have stepped on some important toes in the MSHP and was set up for an execution.

  • Jeremy

Not sure if it matters but I emailed the Missouri FBI office asking if they are going to investigate this instead of the agency that gunned him down. Will update if I get a reply.

  • Corey Stinson

Local media says he had an outstanding warrant on a drug-related charges and was meeting with the police to turn himself in for arrest, or at least that is what the two highway patrol officers thought. So, we quite clearly have two entirely different stories here. His supporters are saying he didn’t have a warrant, media says he did – I am sure they were told that by highway patrol. Someone may want to try to confirm this one way or the other.

  • Burn The Obedient

    @Corey:
And now the only one who can speak the truth is now in a hospital fighting for his life. This is very “mafia”. And, if I have watched enough movies, he wont survive the hospital stay.

Question: Does Missouri have a militia that can guard him while he recovers? I believe there is enough evidence to warrant it.

  • robert robert

this should be a lesson to everyone at Copblock, never meet polce without a second, with a camera, never go it alone, always have a witness. no matter what! this guy knew never to trust the police, why did he do this, why did he think this was ok?

  • Jay Hailey

The dash Cams will mysteriously malfunction. If Weinhaus had any recording devices, they will disappear and maybe reappear later smashed, with the recording media missing.

I wish Weinhaus had a wingman filming the scene.

The FBI will decline to become involved.

  • Christian

someone needs to be at that hospital 24/7 because we all know the next step…..i wish i lived close i would definitely organize some kind of watch to ensure no ”special” visits. I will be praying on this

  • dan dan

Jeff Weinhaus is a mentally ill wife beater who has had at least 8 Orders of Protection entered against him.

The fact that a police officer or brother or father of some women he’s beaten hasn’t shot him before now shows the remarkable restraint that the people have.

Hopefully he’ll get the mental health care he needs in prison.

@DK: Law enforcement will do whatever it can to vindicate itself. If there is video showing the officers indeed acted in self defense, it would have already made the media.

The fact that there hasnt been any video release yet tells me that there is something to hide.

  • Common Sense

    Huh, never saw that coming.

New Update: On September 11, 2012, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control obtained a felony arrest warrant for Jeffrey R.

…another fine job by law enforcement.

  • Jim

Another press release from the MSHP. Who knew?

  • Burn The Obedient

@Common: If it happened that way, case closed. Weinhaus was a strict opponent of the police and he showed that with numerous videos. I will however reserve judgement until proof of that story is provided. It is being said the Weinhaus had evidence of crimes committed by local and state law enforcement, and that he had been threatened several times by police.

As a member of copblock, I am sure he didnt go to that meeting without a recording device of some sort. And unfortunately, thats probably in the hands of MSHP. We will never see or hear it.

If they were only defending themselves, lets see it.

I am trying to be as unbiased as I possibly can, to be able to give both sides of the story. But, one story is still in the hospital in ICU and the other is not giving up any information what-so-ever. At one point when asking Leos for info I was told to “Google it” and then promptly hung up on. Maybe the truth will come out, maybe not. It’s sad tho I know Jeff and the twist the media is trying to give with him being “crazy” is crap. Imagine if around every turn you were being watched. Last week the local Leos tore into his house and took all his computer equipment, cameras and storage data. Many, many times before that they would just walk up and harass him when he was going about his daily life. Even I would start to become pissed and more intent on exposing these people in Phelps and Crawford counties. Actually, given the circumstances, I am.

  • Burn The Obedient

Now, this next comment relies heavily on the departments following protocol, but last I knew, most, if not all departments, activated the camera automatically when the lights came on. Now, I wouldnt doubt that system was put in place as protection for police and subjects, but I believe now that system has become a quasi enemy of less than honorable police departments.

  • LCDMR321

Actually those troopers that met whinehaus do not have dash cams, as they are not road troopers that you see everyday. Those troppers involved in the shooting who I know the identities of, are more like the detective division of the MSHP, they drive the unmarked cars. This was an absolutely justified shooting by fine law enforcement officers doing their jobs. It’s a shame a shooting had to happen I personally think he went there with a gun to commit suicide by cop due to his failing marriage and basically his world collapsing around him recently, and if that is the case and I really do think it is then he is nothing more than a coward.

  • http://na Deb

Hopefully what ever Jeff knows about the local system is in strong capable hands enabling release of the information and hopefully he isn’t the only person trained/learned in tracking and obtaining such information. The only protection we can hope for is to widely publicise it to ensure the systems murderers can not stop what they were intent on covering up. As with Bradley Manning and Julian Assange, we can see although the information was released, the public is not organised enough to protect either of these heros. Corruption has become boldly secure with their means. We have to be prepared for upping the stakes. Quick exposure by releasing the information may be the only thing protecting more persons that the system is fearful of. Thanks for what you are doing.

Under Case.net in Mo. he has nothing pending as far as cases go. Something fishy here. Another cover-up. If you were going to turn yourself in, why would you meet at a gas station. I would go to the police station to turn myself in…that’s where your going once you are in custody.

  • Robert

Every police department needs to have a citizen review board. No agency should be allowed to investigate themselves.

  • Gina

Paul Leason post. Some of HAVE had to call the police for protection and once believed they protected our children and the innocent. Many cops do. Unfortunately some of us have had to learn the hard way that not only many of them are NOT going to protect us, but they are indeed the ones that we need protection from. The internet and camera phones have begun awakening a nation and the truth is very, very ugly. Keep an open mind. I know I didn’t until I saw and experienced it firsthand one too many times. We’re in big, big trouble. But now, thanks to CopBlock and the like, they’re in BIGGER TROUBLE.

  • Nphyx

Eh, why would the highway patrol

    1) have any business arresting anyone for a drug warrant, which is generally not their interest or jurisdiction

    2) arrange a surrender and arrest for a suspect at a remote location rather than telling him to come to the department, if that was really the pretext of the arrangement

    3) not have any backup a man known to be confrontational, armed and dangerous with (allegedly, by commenters here anyway) a history of violence and several restraining orders

This whole thing stinks of, at a bare minimum, incompetence and bass-ackwardness. Who the fuck agrees to this, on either side. You go out in the middle of nowhere and meet alone because you’re doing something you don’t want anybody to know about. This is some shit out of a bad cop movie.

  • Darryl Parrott

There is a couple of eye witnesses. One guy told his story on the Castboolits forum. its under http://www.gunloads.com The thread is titled What I saw today makes me sick.
    Man was unarmed.
Swears that the men had badges that read homeland security.
    They shot him without cause
    All his newsletters disappeared.

  • LCDMR321

    1) The troopers involved are part of the Drug and Crime division. Therefore they have jurisdiction and the right to serve warrants for drugs.
    2) Weinhouse named the place for the meet and instead of arguing with him to force him to a different location they agreed with him hoping that he would surrender peacefully.
    3) There were more than just two troopers there at the meeting place.

Thats how it went, next time get your facts straight.

  • Jeremy

LCDMR321 – just what makes YOU knower of all facts? Were you there? No. If you were you would not be commenting on a website about an on going investigation. The FACT is, nobody here knows what happened and never truly will unless video evidence is found. The police will tell “their truth” and that is what will be judged.

  • Burn The Obedient

@Jeremy: LC is putting on the front that he is close to the investigation. He will never be able to prove it, nor will he try. He will continue to insist that this was a legal shooting. Although there will never be any evidence supporting the fact. Law enforcement has lost its credibility and should be required to provide proof of the encounter. Ive said it before, and Ill say it again….If there is rock solid proof, it would have been released by now.

  • Jeremy

Burn- I agree. Without a doubt the evidence in their favor would be out now. That is how an unfair and biased trial is started. I would love to see the warrants claimed to have been issued.

  • You’reallcrazy

LCDMR321-You’re right in everything you said. Does there have to be a video for all you copblocker’s to believe that this shooting was justified???? Is it not even the slightest bit possible that the troopers did in fact feel threatened and acted accordingly???? I still believe in this country and what we stand for. What I don’t believe in is Americans Vs. Americans, that just pisses me off. In most countries if you walk up to a police officer and try to provoke him/her into doing or saying something while filming it, your ass would be thrown in jail, beat or worse. But not in America. In America, you have the right to carry your cameras around, try to provoke police officers and then if they say something you don’t like, well hell, it goes straight to youtube or sites like this and then the officer is ridiculed for the 30 seconds of video you decided to post and not the part before which shows you provoking him/her. I understand there are bad police officers out there, hell, there is one in every department. BUT!! You all on this site seem to throw the good officers in with the bad??? How fair is that? You preach on this site that you want JUSTICE, well guess what, so do the cops. I have an idea, why don’t you go to Russia, do the same shit over there that you do here, come back and tell me how much you love American police officers. Our country’s police officers are among the highest trained and most professional in the world no matter what you say or think. There are some great police officers out there, not just bad. So why don’t you people do some good and put videos of the good ones on here, or change the name to badcopblocker.org, that would make sense. That’s just my two cents. I’m sure since I don’t agree with most of you that you will slam what I have to say, gang up on me to make yourself feel better, but hey, that’s ok because that is your right under the Constitution. Have a great day and stay safe!!!

  • John Q Public

Sep 12, 2012 (St. Louis Post-Dispatch – McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) — FRANKLIN COUNTY — For years, Jeffrey Weinhaus preached across two states that a cabal of communists, Freemasons and devil-worshippers had long ago taken over his United States of America. On his YouTube channel last month, Weinhaus called for the forceful overthrow of local officials if they did not step down by Sept. 17. In a newsletter called the Bulletin distributed in Jefferson County in the 1990s, then on a website and finally in stream-of-conscious video diatribes on YouTube, Weinhaus, know as Bulletinman, railed against police, lawyers and judges as evil agents of a false government. “What I’ve been trying to lay down over the last 16 years is my right to go in there and blast you (expletive) out of there if we have to,” he said. “You’re going down one way or another.” Soon after he posted the threatening video, Missouri Highway patrolmen seized Weinhaus’ computers from his home in Franklin County, sending him into a frenzy. Police would not say why they took the computers. In his most recent video, posted Sunday, Weinhaus said his third wife had kicked him out and that he was “totally out of my mind, totally clinically insane.” He reiterated his threat to authorities. “You know, I showed remarkable restraint the other evening. And I actually believe the Highway Patrol tried to set me up into firing at them. I mean, they left my gun chambered and safety off.” On Tuesday, two troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol’s drug and crime division officers arranged to meet Weinhaus at a gas station on Highway K near St. Clair. They had a warrant for his arrest from Franklin County for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of tampering with a judicial officer. Bail was set at $50,000. Sgt. Al Nothum said Weinhaus reached for his handgun, and the officers, in fear for their lives, fired at him, striking him at least twice. It was not known if Weinhaus fired a shot. Weinhaus was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur in critical condition. In 1998, Weinhaus moved to St. Francois County to run a holiday lights extravaganza. He also ran for sheriff on a corruption-busting platform but lost to the incumbent, Dan Bullock. The attacks on Bullock did not cease in the Bulletin. “His paper said I was a communist,” Bullock said in 2001. “And it said I’m not really a bad guy, just stupid, and that I don’t know any better.” Meanwhile, Weinhaus hosted rave parties and concerts at his property in the offseason, which were attended by thousands. Weinhaus’ neighbors organized into a group called Citizens Against Raves in 2001. A judge banned Weinhaus from holding more raves. But he held one anyway — to raise money for his legal defense — and was ordered to jail. Weinhaus said he planned to sue just about everyone when he got out. “The only other recourse I have is to shoot people, but that’s not the way,” he told a reporter. “Jesus said to choose life.” Weinhaus kept up his firebrand ways for a decade, making enemies across southern St. Louis hinterlands in Missouri and Illinois. Last week, Weinhaus emailed several people he knew with an “emergency writ of replevin,” a lawsuit against the corrupt “special maritime and territorial jurisdiction” that had been his country. He bragged that the Bulletin had been published “now over 5,720 days without a lawsuit and only 53 days in jail.” He warned police to return his computers. “As always, time is of the essence,” he said.

  • LCDMR321

I know more than you think I know there are facts I haven’t stated nor will I until it has been made public. There is no video footage from patrol units, if there is any video it’s probably from the gas station though of memory serves I think they only have inside cameras. So do not presume to think that you know for a fact that I know nothing. I do and will always know more than the cop hating retards that populate this pathetic website. So go ahead and hail the not so victorious or glorious brain dead bullet-in-man.

  • BestPossibleOutcome

Jeff is the type of person who would have ultimately ended up shooting up a government facility or a public place. Sad that he pushed the envelope to the extent he did (he always did from a kid through adulthood) but Jeff has serious mental issues and this ended with the best possible outcome and least amount of casualties. Hopefully, he will recover physcially and mentally.

Cop Block seems to be some online group of maggots who are afraid to voice their own opinion directly in person. OK so they hold some rallys in public, – but whats that gonna do? Don’t forget once they get your name, your info, its as bad as pissing off the mailman. Y’all wack.

This is what Cop Block puts up as a hero?!? Really. A wife beating, hate monger, pot smoker? You would thunjnthe dope would have mellowed him out some. Some a claiming he had evidence of something. Is it the same kind of evidence that gets served up on this site all the time, the baseless allegation type of evidence?

And as for all of the police procedure “experts” like @suddeth and. @obidient:, You guys don’t have a clue….not that there is anything new there. Arranging a meeting for someone to surrender themselves is commonplace. Most times it is down in isolated locations so as not to attract attention to the person being arrested isn’t “prep walked”. There wouldn’t be dash cams, even if these officers were everyday troopers as there wouldn’t be any reason to turn ontheir lights to start the cameras. You guys apparently know nearly nothing.

As for this guy being a radical. Have you watched his videos? Read his crap? Some of you guys claim to know him and say it wasn’t a radical, violent and dangerous man. Well, his own words scream differently.

  • Ian MacLeod

Well, the FB page doesn’t load. As for this incident, sounds like the guy was, call it “high strung”. would he really be stupid enough to turn himself in to two cops without a wingman and at least one hidden camera? Would he be stupid enough to try and draw down on those two cops? With his rep with the department, I will NEVER understand why he met them alone in an out-of-the-way place like this, and one he likely knew didn’t have an external video. I don’t know this department’s rep, but I’ve seen literally THOUSANDS of articles and videos, many of them showing murders – in public, on video, and they were not held accountable. Working ambulance for a decade, including a year in east Oakland, I worked with some fine officers; we pulled each other’s fat out the fire plenty of times. Most of them had a temper, but then it was just that a mouthy idiot, or someone stupid enough to spit on a cop or swing at one got beaten, NOT shot, NOT murdered. There have been far too many deaths in America this way, by departments that investigate themselves. That would never have happened back in the day, and shouldn’t now. Cops were always scared shitless of the investigators, who were NOT part of the regular PD, because they tried real hard to gather enough evidence to convict. The “information” released so far doesn’t look at all good for the department so far.

Just FYI, everyone, ICU isn’t a good place to kill someone. It’s usually pretty open with people close to the patients all the time, watching as any of ‘em could crump at any second. It’s when he’s OUT of ICU you shold worry and have someone there. For someone that weak, a guy wandering in at lunch in an orderly uniform or housekeeper’s outfit would only need 4-6 minutes and a pillow.

I knew cops who retired who were PROUD of never having had to draw their service revolvers. They were problem solvers; they never went in with an attitude. Too often these days it seems there’s nothing BUT attitude and hand-held cannons. As the former Chief of Police for Seattle, Norm Stamper said, the police today are being conditioned to view the public they used to serve as The Enemy. They’re taught they have to stand up for each other, because it’s them against everyone else. I’ve seen that they’re ex-military far too often, some with emotional problems and some just tough guys who always have something to prove – low-IQ, high-violence thugs. There’s a reason for this: there’s a collapse coming folks. It can’t NOT happen. Guess who’s going to continue getting the short end of the stick, and where? *sigh* This can’t turn out well no matter what. Good luck, Jeff, and may the innocent, if there are any, win out for once.

Is this the type of “hero” you cop-blockers look up to? A whack job?? I wonder what the dude has been doing to support himself for the last 8 years while he has been on his “crusade.” HE SELLS DRUGS FOR A LIVING!!! Most cops are from lower middle class backgrounds. They either put themselves through 4 years of college or spend 4 years in the military in order to be able to put themselves through college, then they get a job. They show up to work when they are supposed to, pay their bills, buy a house, and pay their taxes. They are productive members of society. What do you cop blockers do to be productive members of society? Oh, that’s right, you beg money on the internet. That’s a hell of lot easier than standing on a street corner all day with a tin cup in your hand. This loser walked up to two cops and reached for a holstered gun. He’s a wife beating, dope dealing criminal.

Unlike some of the posters here, I have yet to make a judgement against either party. There is no proof that either party is innocent. The police are relying on their ever dwindling accoutability to pull them through this one, without a shred of evidence. And copblock is relying on their activism.

I have a question for the people who “side” with the police. What is difference between a bunch of cops standing up for another cop, and a bunch of activists standing up for another activist? When an officer needs assistance, he calls other officers. When an activist needs assistance, he calls other activists. Its a war that will be waged until the end of the world. Or, until we get back to a constitutional government, whichever comes first.

  • TOOmanyIDIOTSinSOCIETY

cannot wait to see if they come out with the recorded evidence of what happened. not all policemen are bad. Some try to uphold the oath they take and provide justice, but policemen must take orders as do military personnel. When your orders are coming from corrupt police chiefs and agencies, you have to do what you have to do. And how do you have your own agency investigate the matter. Like cops don’t look out for each other. Cover ups happen all the time. That’s just ridiculous to me and as people are tried by their peers in court, i believe police matters like this should be as well. Lets just say there is a corrupt police department who has occasional issues like this, but their own agency is the one who investigates this stuff. How would they ever be uncovered?? It takes people like Jeffrey Weinhaus to expose things like this. Regardless of his history, hes an intelligent man. Sounds a whole lot more intelligent than many of you on this post. I hope he pulls through and if the cops are trying to cover this up, i hope he exposes them all and shows these closed minded people just because they wear a badge does not mean they’re out here to “serve and protect”.

Interesting. The bloggers siding with the officers are more viscious and crazy than all the other bloggers put together. I do not know what happened with this incident. What I do know is, we want to defend to the hilt the good officers we have. That includes getting rid of the bad cops and the corruption so good officers can do their jobs with pride. This also means never should they be investigated by their own. Since when is college a requirement for becoming a police officer? I think high school or equivalent is required. For those of you who don’t believe we have an overload of bad, brutal cops and corruption, what fairy tale hole have you had your heads in? If you are watching live stream vids (as the mainstream media isn’t showing truth) we are seeing officers shocked by what some of the other officers and higher ups are doing. This entire incident and so many others is an affirmation of the low depths our country is because of people giving blind unquestioning support. To prevent or stop corruption, this must never be given to anyone or any group. Allowing good officers to be good officers and weeding out the bad is in swift and desparate need.

Jeff has been in legal trouble since he was a child from drugs, underage drinking, beating on women (he’s not very big so he always beat on the weaker). Sadly, he never did have guidance throughout life and his criminal behavior continued which he chose to make his platform. Most criminals, like Jeff, do hate law enforcement. Jeff actions reminds me of what was going on in Kirkwood when Cookie Thornton (look it up Weinhaus followers) went in and shot up a City Meeting. Jeff did not abide by the law. He broke the law. He was shot in a tactical manner, wouldn’t surprise me if he were wearing a vest, given that he got two to the chest then one to the head. He didn’t comply with officers. He went down. It would be in the rest of his followers best interest to take this Jeff’s shooting and learn from it, i.e. you don’t obey laws, there are consequences.

It’s funny how alot of people will put their head in the sand to avoid the truth. Take the Justice for jeffrey facebook page, there were individuals there who spoke the absolute truth and were getting more likes and comments than the creator of the page. The creator then decided to ban and delete comments because it made him feel uncomfortable. Even the central mo copblock facebook page deletes anything that may contradict them in way shape or form. These people are hypocrites and liars, and refuse to listen to anything that is not their point of view. they defend a known criminal drug user woman beater and now attempted cop killer. Have fun defending an idiot who is stupid enough to draw down on cops.

  • John Q Public

Sounds like the freedom of speech central mo copblockers holler about doesn’t apply to people who bring up different views. What hypocrites.

  • LCDMR321

It seems to me that the copblockers are nothing more than cowards and hypocrites who will censor anyone who disagrees with them. I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of them have criminal histories and they feel they are always innocent since they got a county lockup law degree. I challenge them to show credible proof that whinehaus is innocent and was wrongfully shot. No such evidence exists and will never be shown. The eyewitness fairy tale that is posted on the site is laughable at best. It just goes to show that criminals will always stick together and fabricate stories to put unreasonable doubt on a clear cut and dry justified shooting. Copblockers is nothing more than a haven for criminals delinquents and people who are uneducated about the roles of law enforcement. The “fuck the police” mentality was cool in high school but it’s time for these guys to grow up and face reality.

Though I am a little uncomfortable with Mr. Weinhaus’ direction of confrontation even though legal I take stock of of the approch, but I take grave concern with the law enforcement to their approch to a problem. Anytime a goverment entity refers to a coworker as “one of their own” that suggest bias, and as we all know through study bias is a break down of social stibility. Since when is the burden of proof on the injured party? It’s up to the police to justify it.

  • Justice For Jeffrey

I gave people the chance to stop the bullshit, and they did not listen. The page isn’t about what side of the situation you’re taking. It’s about the well being for a person that is loved by his family, regardless. You, and all the others, calling him names and arguing back and forth is not “the truth.” Only Jeff and the officers know the truth, are you one of them? I didn’t think so. So shut the fuck up. I have not posted ANYTHING contradicting on the page, besides the conflicting stories from the media. The rest has been focused on his recovery. The funniest part about your post is “it made him uncomfortable.” Wow, apparently you know my feelings better than I do! It was not about my feelings, and still isn’t. It was about the endless amounts of bullshit people were posting on the page. Also, there have been just shy of 120 people that “liked” the page based on him RECOVERING. Not yours, or anyone else’s ridiculous opinions. So think again before you assume “those comments were getting more than the creator’s.”

    BestPossibleOutcome wrote:
“It would be in the rest of his followers best interest to take this Jeff’s shooting and learn from it, i.e. you don’t obey laws, there are consequences.”

    …Seriously?

Did I read that correctly? Are you really that indoctrinated?

You are supporting the right of a Law Enforcement official to decide who lives and who dies, based entirely on their compliance with the deciding officer?

Look people, it really doesn’t matter what side you’re on with the man, the fact is a man has been fatally(?) shot, by men with guns, who are unable or unwilling to provide accurate details on the crime. Jeffrey did, indeed, seem to be an unstable lunatic. His belief in God, his frequent domestic assaults, his(alleged) drug use. He seems every bit the type of person who is capable of violent acts against government officials. So, with that in mind, I have a question:

If these officers believed they were in danger, in any amount of danger, would they not have chosen to RECORD this encounter? Is there any doubt that they would have anticipated potential violence? Would innocent men not seek to exonerate themselves of any potential allegations of wrongdoing in advance?

These are “trained professionals”. These men are ready to take a man’s life if need be. Why were they not recording?

Seriously ask yourself this question. Why didn’t they record this meeting? They had EVERY reason to do so. And yet there is no video? No evidence? Just the Officers word against a man they assumed was dead. I find this all very convenient.

LCDMR321, Buford T. Justice, Paul Leason, BestPossibleOutcome, and you CommonSense, if you are capable of logical thought, how do ignore these glaring inconsistencies? How can you so easily condone the shooting of a man? Is it because he had a gun? There were two(or more, according to LCDMR321)Officers there. They each had a gun. Why are you focusing on the person, and not on the incident? If I went out and beat 3 people to death with a club, would you support me for it because they were homeless drug-addicts? It’s obvious to any reasonable person that ‘ol Jeffrey was crazy. He may well have deserved to have his ass beaten.

    But that isn’t the point.

We have Judges, Juries and Courts for that. Corrupt as they are, society agrees them to be necessary. But this wasn’t the Judge handing down a death sentence. This was TWO GUYS, who shot a man repeatedly. Of course we want to find out what really happened there, and the police are reluctant to tell us. That’s fucking fishy as hell. This is about standing up for civil injustices, about being a patriot. There is nothing more evil than a man who witnesses an injustice against his brother and turns his head.

BestPossible,OutcomeLCDMR321,CommonSense, you are, as expressed by your opinions, clearly a waste of precious resources, and yet I would be expressing the same concern if this happened to you. How can you be so ignorant and compassion-less?

  • WW3

This story is blown out of proportion to distract you.
I hope, but doubt the truth will ever be known. I hope justice shall prevail.
BUT… This is a distraction from the bigger picture. This story is diversionary propaganda. Our true focus needs to be elsewhere… On a National level! This is a tool to divide us. If we are busy squabbling, we won’t be paying attention to them. This is a smoke screen to cover much bigger wrongs being perpetrated.
He is a statistic they will use to suggest all the “activists” are “crazy.”
The TROLLS here are a perfect example. If they pile on so much bullshit, no one will care to dig for the truth, and they will have the last word.

In the meantime, no one will notice we already have soldiers fighting in how many countries?
Israel’s Prime Minister is speaking on US television shows, calling for the American people to vote for a President who will back Israel, if and when they attack Iran! Russia and China said they will defend Iran…

We are approaching WW3 and you want to argue about someone who is being made a scapegoat? There either IS or ISN’T evidence, but all they need is speculation to achieve their goal. When the time comes, the TROLLS will ask for Martial Law to be implemented. They are working with them to keep us divided or are simply ignorant.

We must all remain UNITED States Citizens striving to keep our Constituton whole and sound. Stop your petty bickering.

  • Missed the point…

Look, WW3, I know we’re basically on the same side here, but the rhetoric I’m hearing coming from you is dangerous. What, exactly, are “they” trying to “distract us” from? This isn’t national news, man. The type of mentality you have causes YOU to become distracted. There is no bigger picture here. This fight starts at the local level.

It’s by standing up for the little injustices all around us that a movement gains momentum, by defending the people themselves, by being the voice for those too stupid or afraid to speak out. If you constantly disregard examples of local police misconduct and instead focus on “the bigger picture”, you blind yourself to the real issues and become a puppet, just like the people you despise.

And the bickering that is occurring isn’t petty, it’s what happens when people with different views are allowed to interact. This is how we grow as people, and how you learn who the “enemy” is. The enemy is ignorance, it’s people who need an enemy. Do you believe that we can fix everything by eliminating some criminal mastermind? The leader of the Illuminati? No, it’s much more complicated than that. There isn’t anybody running the show, just a bunch of corrupt, greedy politicians and ignorant people who don’t hold them accountable, or worse, blame faceless shadow organizations. If you want a villain, try the apathetic American public, or the massive international collaboration between banks, but make sure you know your enemy.

WW3, I hate to say this, because I think your heart is in the right place, but conspiracy theorists like yourself tend to detract significantly from the overall credibility of the movements they join. Imagine how much more legitimate scrutiny the 9/11 commission report would have received if Alex Jones would have just shut the hell up? The problem is, when the first crazy guy aligns himself with a cause, the group as a whole looks crazy, because crazy people are louder than sane people, and everyone tends to notice the loudest, craziest person in the group and assume the others are crazy too.

The fact is, change starts small, it starts local. Events like this are exactly the kind of galvanizing factor that forces the complacent into action. That’s how real social change is enacted.

So you should be calling Cindy Scheidt, or the Division in charge of the murder, or hell, the FBI. But pointing fingers into the dark and cursing an unseen enemy is not what you should be doing. We can all see, plainly, who is responsible for Jeffrey’s death(?). And if we keep asking questions and demand accountability of those involved, then we may actually learn the what actually happened. If everyone here shared your “bigger picture” mentality, then Jeffrey Weinhaus would be just another faceless, nameless lump on the growing pile of corpses. We cannot allow Law Enforcement to feel safe in their ability to murder us. They must understand that we, the people, demand justice.

  • Paul

Funny how in the article that someone posts that they are close to this loser and knows “for a fact” that the audio that was recorded from his phone now has 50 copies and is in the hands of a lawyer….hhhmmm you would think that lawyer would have produced it by now. Wouldn’t that be withholding evidence? bbbwwwaaahhaaa…you people are as bad as the FEMA camp believers! You ever heard the old saying that there are three sides to ever story..yours, mine, and the truth? Some of you blast people on here for having dfferent views than yours. You say they have no proof yet in your article you post a “message” that has no legs to stand on about a recording. If you morons hate cops so much then do this….if you are ever being robbed or any other crime being committed against you, don’t call the cps, call 911 and ask for a county dump truck driver or someone like that to drag your sorry ass out of harms way. Idiots! This country is a damn good place to live….dont’t think so then be sure to visit Iraq, China, Russia, of Libiya…..claim a right for free speech there….no seriously please go! Smart people se you as nothing more than problem starters and cry babies….grow up and become productive.

  • LCDMR321

The justice for Jeffrey facebook page blocked people because they didn’t like what was being fed to them. Those people grew sick of the lies and decided to puke the truth all over everyone. The creator couldn’t handle that truth and blocked those people. As for Dennis saying I’m my own worst enemy well he’ll everyone is their own worst enemy in a sense. Whether I am cut from the cloth of law enforcement or not is irrelevant. I see things for what they are. I see the truth being the words and between the lies. Maybe I have insider information or maybe I can actually put 2 and 2 together with the correct answer. If you want to spar with me have at it I’ve already said my piece on this event. The cops were justified. Missed the point is clearly missing out on reality and ww3 well all I can say is some psyche ward is missing a patient. Call me cold hearted call me ignorant but all you do there is confirm what I say is the truth. Peace out and don’t forget to thank a cop for their hard work they do everyday, heroes In blue and brown one and all.

  • BestPossibleOutcome

Missed the Point, anything I’ve stated regarding Jeff are things I’ve witnessed firsthand which evoked me to stay away from him when we were kids (drugs, drinking, beating on a girl I knew). He was booted out of school for drug possession. Also, all those who think that this meeting between Jeff and law enforcement to turn himself in (which why would he bring a weapon to turn himself in-to make controversy for all his criminal followers, that is why) went unrecorded by law enforcement is wishful thinking. I am certain, they’ve got the camera footage. When Jeff made a clear and dangerous terrorist threat to a government center tagging it with a date, that is when the FBI gets involved. In summary, Missed the Point, you are missing the point. I do not wish death on Jeff, I wish him physical and mental recovery. I wish mental recovery for many of you as well.

  • Missed the point…

So, not ONE of you can answer my simple, reasonable question? I can’t say I’m surprised, but I would have expected you to at least humor me.

Why are you all avoiding the point? You say I sympathize with Jeffrey, but that’s not a whole truth. I would sympathize with ANYBODY who this happened to.

But the real question, that nobody cares to answer, is where is the fucking recording? BestPossibleOutcome, you say you’re sure that Law Enforcement recorded this encounter. You say they were in the right. You believe this man “drew first”.

If that was true, wouldn’t they have released the recording by now? Why allow so much speculation, when every rational person would be placated with video evidence? There is literally NO reason for them to withhold ANY video evidence if the their report is true and accurate. Care to speculate why the won’t?

Nobody can answer this, and yet you still insist on character assaults, defamation, straw-manning, and appeal to authority. Why all the bullshit if you have something relevant to say?

LCDMR321, if you’d grown up in the Ghetto instead of a suburb you’d be pro-gang. I’ve seen tools like you a thousand times, you pick whatever side is “the good guy” and bandwagon right along with them, regardless of what they ACTUALLY do or say, remaining blind and ignorant. People like you set back the civil rights movement, you’ve indirectly advocated countless civil injustices and human rights violations by supporting a Government that doesn’t discriminate between Human Life and Profit Margin.

And I find your opinions about WW3 to be especially amusing, because you and he are exactly the same. You both blindly follow your “good guys” and mindlessly vilify your “enemies”. How much have you actually read about our current war in Iraq? I bet you “know more than I think”, right? I bet you think that “the terrorists” are comin’ fer yer freedom! How is that any different from WW3’s “Help me Alex Jones! The Illuminati are comin’ for my freedom!”?

You’re just a flag waving yocal, content in your hate and indifference, and until you actually start reading about our Nation’s history, you will continue to support baseless opinions.

There isn’t ONE person here who gets the real issue. You’re ALL just rooting for colors.

People like you, ignorant, complacent, and indoctrinated, are the reason Freedom is dead in America.

LCDMR, BestPossible, as a patriot to a civilian, FUCK YOU. You don’t deserve the little freedom you have left if you’re too damn stupid to ask questions.

p.s. I support our Soldiers, just not the Government that sacrifices their lives for cheap labor and oil. I support my local Police as well, just not any cowards who use a badge to commit atrocities against the people they’re sworn to protect. If you disagree with me about that, then you truly deserve death.

Missed the point…I’m beginning to think you have anger issues. As for my grammar and punctuation….well hell son you really burned me there. Ouch damn that hurt and all that rhetoric. As for your inquiry on video evidence…if there is any it will come out when the investigation is complete. I’m glad you think I grew up in a suburb but as always you assume when you know nothing. People like me set back civil rights movements? I’m not ever sure how to respond to that asinine remark. The audacity that you have staying I advocate civil rights injustices and violation shows how idiotic you are. I’ll call out a cop if he is doing wrong hell I know a couple that I don’t trust and know they violate civil rights almost on a daily basis but the uneducated let it slide in that small community. In this instance of whinehaus this is a clean shoot as much as I hate using that term. You’re a patriot and I am the civilian…I doubt that claim of patriotism very much. I see mad hear from people like you everyday in mad out of work and I can only think that the world would be a better place if your mom was only smart enough to have swallowed on conception night. You’re a very angry child I say that because of the fuck you remark you made which is exactly what a little kid would say when they lost a fight. So grow up and show some respect to the brave men and women of law enforcement their job is tough enough as it is without having to deal with a plethora of cop haters.

  • Missed the point…

Oh damn, you’re right. I AM an angry kid. A more rational, intelligent, and objective kid. You know why I’m mad? Because people like you are everywhere in this country, believing whatever the news says, ignoring scientific data, allowing their opinions to be manipulated, and worshiping a deity like a fucking caveman. If you were as informed as you believe yourself to be, this argument wouldn’t be occurring. Try reading what the people who founded this country have to say about my opinion on our Government. They fought through the same kind of militaristic tyranny that dumbasses such as yourself have allowed to occur in our current governmental system. You think I hate our Country. You dumb fucker, I hate our Government, but I hate people like you more. It’s people like you, the ignorant masses, with closed eyes and deaf ears, that have allowed our freedoms to be taken away.

Nothing I say will get through to you, but I’m sure that every single fucking person who reads these exchanges can see who has a point to make. You poor fucker, it really is easier for you to just pretend I’m a “cop hater”, and pretend everyone that disagrees with you hates the police and America. It’s not that black and white, if you had an education you’d realize that.

  • LCDMR321

You mad bro? It’s ok I understand. I would try to read what the people who founded our our country have to say about your opinion of the government, but I’m sure they are all dead. Unless you can channel the dead like Cleo, I’m pretty sure they are not going to say anything. You should really think harder next time you write something instead of letting your anger cloud your mind. I sense much anger in you. Poor fucker, dumb fucker, fucker, fucker, fucker, fucker. You’ve really proven your point. Not black and white? the law is very much black and white, you either obey the laws or you break them. Thats what the issue here is. Whinehaus broke the law when he made threats against a governing body. Whinehaus broke the law by being in posession of controlled substances. Whinehaus clearly disobeyed a lawful order by the MSHP when he tried to draw his weapon on the troopers. The issue is very much black and white. It’s not my fault you’re too ignorant to see that. Cheer up bro it’s a beautiful day outside…at least here in Missouri.

I do not know what the rules are for this blog but on most, there are common rules such as no personal attacks, name calling, no promotion of illegal activites, etc. It is also appropriate to ignore another blogger who is trying to prevent sensible exchange of thought by causing diversion. that person may be a plant or not mentally capable of anything more. Instead of allowing such people to cause a negative affect on the blog and achieve their goal to divert more bloggers and preventing the conversation, it may mean that person or persons do not belong on the said blog. Can someone advise if this is the norm or the norm to be allowed on copblocker?

  • Missed the point…

Deb, I’m not sure if your comment was directed at me. If so, let me apologize if I’ve been too derogatory, or even just rude. If I’ve prevented anybody from feeling welcome in participating in this conversation, then I apologize to you as well. That was not my intention. I just got heated, and I have some anger issues, as LCDMR321 pointed out…

If it was towards LCDMR321, I would even say he has the right to be a Troll. Sad as it is, Trolling totally falls under free speech, and we should support his right to it. If nothing else, consider it an opportunity. We can all see this guy avoiding the issue, relying on defamation, and overall trying to provoke a response from anybody he can. It’s sad, but it IS informative.

And for people like me, this type of interaction helps me to deal with people like him in real life, where I would be suppressing an overwhelming desire to literally punch knowledge into his face directly. That solves nothing, so working on my debate skills while simultaneously learning to cope with ignorant, close minded, inflammatory people is really helpful to me. You can’t effect a real change in society through violence, only through information and knowledge.

Regardless, if I’ve offended anyone I’m sorry. I feel strongly about this issue, and I let it get the best of me.

Missed the Point, you need to reread my comments. I did not say Jeff drew first. I stated that he did not comply after he making numerous threats to numerous people. Also, this is an ongoing investigation wherein any video of taking Jeff into custody is considered evidence and, as with any other type of incident of law enforcement video/information, would not “immediately” be released to the public in that it could compromise this/other cases. If Jeff has a smart attorney, the attorney would not want the video released until trial either. Lastly, if you are going to be the spokesperson for Jeff, it would be in your best interest to back off the abrasive verbage, name calling, profanity, etc. when trying to address others and put forth your beliefs. People tend to not listen to someone who is swearing, name calling, being overall offensive when trying to get a point across. I know Jeff. I feel bad for him in many ways. Nobody is a winner where this hot mess is concerned. I won’t be responding further. I wish you well.

Dennis I want to apologize I was distracted from your comment due to missed the points rhetoric and childish responses. As for me being tunnel visioned I can honestly say that I am not. I remain objective through this and right now everything points to the troopers being I the mihjt and Jeff being in the wrong here he agreed to meet them at this location. He knew he was meeting law enforcement yet brought a gun. Now upon seeing a gun strapped on someone’s hip a cop is going to want that person as far from that gun as possible due tit safety on their part and his. When he was given lawful orders, presumably to get on the ground with hands stretched out towards the troopers and away from the gun, he instead tried to draw down and was rightfully shot. Although this was not the absolute worst outcome it was still a bad one because no cop wants to shoot someone, they shoot someone to save their lives and the lives around them. As for me being a man cut from law enforcement cloth…no I just have the utmost respect for law enforcement theirs is a job that is tough enough without hate groups like copblock tarnishing their reputations. I will admit some of my close friends are cops and some of my other friends are former military as well. I have the utmost respect for those brave men and women both in and out of military and in law enforcement. I hope this answers your questions or concerns and once again I apologize for getting side tracked by another user on here.

No, not you, Missed the Point. Thank you for the apology though. I’m not understanding someone saying they are pro-cop or anti-cop. I would think we all want the same things. Keep our good officers and prosecute the bad cops to the fullest extent. Criminals are criminals, not to be confused with outlaws as it is everyone’s duty to resist corrupt laws. There are ‘those’ cops who like to play mind games, make full use of intimidation tactics vs a human approach and look for the opportunity to use excessive force. I’ve heard a cop bragging about knocking people out using a 2nd blow to the head before the rebound completes and how good the local papers are about turning cameras off while this is done by his dept. We recently had police shoot and kill a teenager whose mom called the police for help because her son was threatening suicide. This was not in your area or state but is not the kind of policing most of us want, including our decent human officers. To further damage a brain that is already under or over firing is a disservice to everyone, as is, being one to cause initial brain damage whether by physical force, compounding PTSD or a mental, emotional or chemical disorder. Same would apply to a blogger or anyone, if we continue to engage, promoting negative over reactions, therefore decreasing stability. Just something to consider is all. Best to you all. I’ll be signing off here also.

I think this might have been Jeff’s way of proving that the authorities in The area he lived in are corrupt. Maybe he set the cops up at the station knowing the risky move may provoke Angry officers ending his Life. I believe he just might have been demonstrating his right to bare arms and probably had an open carry permit. The H.P. seen he had a gun ordered him to put it down (they probably had guns drawn) he might have started to touch it then bang bang bang. I read he was shot twice in chest and once in the head. Not in the leg or arm, kill shots. He has defined Crime in his videos and what happened to him seems a lot like a crime to me. Until I see proof Jeffrey made ANY attempt aiming(raising/tilting barrel) his weapon I am going to believe he was The victim of attempted murder. Maybe They will release CLEAR footage someday? Yes he was a loud character and maybe crazy but still a human u.s. citizern not a bug in the sights of paid exterminator so shooting him because he had a gun and even touching it doesnt give them right to kill him in my opinion (AMERICA) so lets swait and see how the story unfolds and if he is still alive I Pray he pulls through, would be nice if the bullet didnt hit his brain also????

My biggest problem with our men in blue is the fact they have this us against them attitude. They put their life on the line for us, you don’t like it find another job. But I guess that would be hard for some of the power-hungry, masocistic sadists to work a real job, that requires some sort of decency towards others. You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, get over yourself.

What happened to the American ideal of innocent until proven guilty and being able to be judged by a jury of your peers? Doesn’t matter what Jeffery believed, he has every right to believe it and speak about it. Period.

I’m not in Mossouri, but have followed the beating of Kelly Thomas, the homeless man beaten to death by Fullerton police officers. And although it is sad to have the good cops mixed in with the bad cops, I can guarentee the good cops know who the bad cops are. Police unions and political contribution have allowed these greedy, SOB’s to put in mostly retired police officers into office.

We can take back our public servants, but we need to watch local elections closer than we watch national ones. Obama seems to support this nataional homeland security measure, but I see this as an abuse of power. We need to stop this madness!!! I’m afraid it will only get worse.

@Ydo: You are right and wrong. Everybody has that right. YOU are instantly condemning the police…denying them that right. ALL of the superficial evidence in this case: his overwhelming hatred of the police, his drug use, his love of guns (and love of ALWAYS carrying one), he’s spiraling instability…are clearly known and evident. But that mean that things went down the way the police say it did? No. But YOU need to remember all of that as it is clearly part of what happened. The police knew what this guy was like. Probably why they asked him to agree to meet them instead of forcibly going out after him. But look at it all…. this guy hates law enforcement and the arresting agency specifically, he not only condones violence against the poll e but suggests it, he always carries a handgun, and he agrees to meet the police about this outstanding warrant. Now think…he is coming to be arrested, so he still brings his gun? Why would a right minded person do that? They wouldn’t. Knowing that this guy is coming, hates and wants to kill you, and is going to probably be armed…is it not reasonable for the police to be wary of that person? It is. So if this guy shows up, is pissed off (an absolute certainty), and reaches for his gun (even if just “surrender” it) in an aggressive manner….what would you do?

  • Rita

Deb, if we had any good officers, THEY’D be the ones getting rid of the bad ones.

  • LDX

Need to find out if he was carrying a gun. Bad idea if he was there to turn himself in. If he was there for other business, why was he trusting the people he was alleging where corrupt? Such a meeting would have to have been brokered by an attorney either way to be have been safe. Is their any proof he was there to meet with police at their invitation? As a rule, individuals identified with the Zionist movement tend to be a little reckless in their attempt to confront the system they perceive to be at the core of US collapse. At the other end of this are police who are too eager to take human game. Psychologically, police having confiscated his computer and leaving his gun was bait. Jeffrey had a tendency to behave with a rather manic albeit highly focused mind which under the circumstances staging such a coup would have empowered him emotionally to arm himself against his perceived perps giving the police the opportunity to dshoot him, which is Stone House Hunting Lodge. As a rule, 1:00 PM, three armed men, is trouble at the door, because this is an occult featured meeting, hence the number 13. Jeffrey, when you come through this you need to slow down just a bit. There are resources to help you administratively, but you have to work with pewople to make good use of them. Let’s get over this now. Heal. Back at it, but slow down!

  • LCDMR321

I am waiting to see how this plays out now that he is off the ventilator an breathing on his own. Last I heard he had a tracheotomy done. Oh well too bad so sad I suppose. Im sure once he is medically cleared by doctors its straight to jail for him until trial. Then all the evidence against him will be presented and he will go away for a long time like he deserves. Shame he could not surrender peacefully but thats not surprise when it comes to this maniac. Wonder if his next bulletinman video will be shot from lockup.

Everyone who came here to legitimately discuss this issue, please disregard anything that LCDMR321 says. You can scroll up and see him trying to troll earlier in this topic too. His goal is to wave his flag around and derail any kind of rational debate.

  • KhronicKing

Disregard the man’s personal history and the specific details of the case. When cops have solid evidence and act in an approriate manner they use it to make the defendant look guilty prior to trial and if nothing else they show how they are so fucking professional. They would rush to show anything legitimate if they had it. They need nothing, thanks to the blind lovers of all things cop, because he has already been found guilty in the court of piblic opinion.

I am always all over police brutality, but I have to say this: Why on earth did he walk towards them and say, “You’re gonna have to shoot me”? That just wasnt a smart thing to say. That gives them a license to shoot. And lord knows they can do it even without being threatened.

  • LCDMR321

Poor pitiful whineass. its a slam dunk case he is guilty and should get the maximum sentence for trying to kill two brave officers of the law. This site is so damn idiotic and blind to just how crazy they really are. Here’s to hoping one day that all you extremists collectively suckstart a gun.

Isn’t odd that poor little Jeffrey seems to be the victim all the time? Isn’t odd that no matter where he lives, trouble seems to find him? Isn’t it odd that he always has an excuse for everything he gets caught doing and it tends to be that everyone else is conspiring against him? Actually, no it isn’t odd, the facts are that Jeffrey Weinhaus is a paranoid schizophrenic who needs mental help and then a commitment for life to psychiatric hospital to keep him away from society. The only one victimizing Jeffrey is Jeffrey. He just can’t seem to abide by the laws the rest of us have no problem following.

  • Chubs

So I’ve read a lot of these posts. Watched the 08/12 YouTube video posted by Jeffrey W where he talks about how the citizens need to eliminate the corrupt status quo; Vote them out, prosecute with trial by peers as a first attempt…and finally by force if corruption runs too deep. I read the MO SP showed up at Jeff’s doorstep because of that video (ultimately charging him with some felonies related to the video after shooting him). Jeff never should have answered his door. He should have checked the peep-hole/window/camera and gone back to the TV or have taken up position, but he should not have opened his door for those cops! He answered, they said they smelled pot, they got a warrant, searched his house, and busted him for 35grams, and took his electronic equipment. Now, the cops figured they probably could not get him on that one video, but if they could scrape his computer for more “radical” videos/statements and writings, they could then paint a picture of a very smart, very dangerous, very lucid man who was adocating violence and making terroristic threats against his community and the State. In corrupt, very loyal institutions, I’ve heard the term “Spray and Pray” used where they throw lots of charges at the person knowing not all of it will stick, but a few charges will. That is what they are doing here…

As an informed citizen and juror, I would take issue with the MO SP showing up at Jeff’s door for that video alone. Without specific actionable threats (names, methods…etc), I would find Jeff innocent of any charges related to the drugs and the electronic evidence. On to the shooting…

As of yet, there is no video of the shooting, so I have to start with the recording and work backwards. As a juror, I hear the officer state that he repeatedly told Jeff to take his hands away from the gun. In my head, I imagine it being a LOUD repeated order. However, on the cellphone recording I don’t hear anything like that. The questionable witness who blames it all on the FBI/DHS, and who only heard the gun shots as he rounded the store corner, does not mention any commands like that. I would focus on what sounds like an open car door, Jeff seeming to be polite and aknowledging the officer…and shots being fired. As a juror, I would be very suspect of the officer’s testimony at this point without hearing something like, “HANDS UP! HANDS UP!” And without video evidence of Jeff blatenly going for his gun, or any other witness validating the officer, I would dismiss all charges. Obviously, if acquitted Jeff should file a Civil lawsuit against the department. Know your rights as a citizen and as a Juror and hope Jeff maintains his mental and physical strength if he truly is innocent in this case. Innocent until proven guilty!

Unbelievable… The audio recording was an eye (or rather, ear) opener!
Thank goodness Mr. Weinhaus didn’t succumb to the use of deadly force.
Even though I’m a poor-ass law student, I’m gonna dig deep and donate whatever little I can. This incident is one of those times when you gotta realize, talk is cheap…
    $$$ talks and bullshit….

so, what is the plan to help mr. Weinhaus?

  • kelkrl

you know something funny a 17 yr. old child named Treyvon Martin was stalked, gunned down by an adult then died, the perpetrator creates a website for donations to bail him out of jail people actually donate he’s released as if it never happened. The whole time his parents grieved while he was called names like nigger, thug, menace, ghetto hood when all he did was purchase candy and soda no one was outraged or had any sympathy this child never had a record, never sold drugs, didn’t have a “baby mama” was an honor student what more did you people want?, ooh ooh I know he wasn’t ta da white, here it is this man has a record and he gets all the sympathy in the world or all the harassment black men have to endure and don’t tell me it’s imagined or I’m playing the race card because I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Or how about little black babies getting shot down in playgrounds? No one was in an uproar about children getting gunned down until 20 white children were gunned down in a school it was all over the news. You’re all hypocrites none of you cared about these types of crimes until it began happening to you, we all live in this country together when you turn a blind eye your actually harming yourself because eventually that energy will work it’s way around to you. You reap what you sow and karmas a bitch welcome to my world. I’ll repeat if you would have nipped this crap in the bud when it was happening to other races these injustices wouldn’t exist at all but now that these injustices no longer serve you, you want to complain cry me a river.

  • LCDMR321

Kelkrl…you make your point the way a drunk man walks, every direction but the one that matters. Treyvon Martin…who cares. Has no bearing on this whatsoever, go play your race card elsewhere. Next thing you know you’ll come up with crazy conspiracy theories about how the white man keeps the black man down. Or how the black man is unjustly persecuted by white policemen…shoo shoo child go elsewhere with your racist rhetoric.

  • MrWoundweaver

why do all the charges up top on the case.net pics of jeffs charges say troop c is the arresting agency??

I have the video, audio, still shots from the video and the FULL DEPO where as the cops lied over and over again… And no Jeffrey did not go to the MFA station to turn himself in to be arrested @LCDMR321, he went there because as usual the cops lied to him to get him up there by telling him they was returning his computers back to him. As you should know, sounding like you are a LEO yourself, the LEO’s in this case said they was using a “RUSE,” aka lie to him. I am expecting the LEO’s to try and take me out for exposing this farce of an attempted MURDER, but Jeffrey did nothing wrong in this case. Also the LEO’s in this case lied and said Jeffrey had the gun and holster on his RIGHT side… WRONG.. it was on his LEFT hand side… I got the picture to prove it.. They could not say that the gun was on his LEFT because the watch/video recorder was on his LEFT arm, and that proves he did not try pulling the gun. Hope you MR. LCDMR321 have everything happen to you that you have wished upon those just looking to find the truth in this matter.. I HAVE ALL THE TRUTH :) Trying to get the video then the still shots up here on Cop Block.

Awwww.? Are you a little hurt because some people are willing to criticize a murderer and a corrupt, criminal system that allows certain murderers to go free and attempts to cover up for their extremist crimes while simultaneously imprisoning innocent people? Don’t be a welfare queen. If you want to see a collective change, you should be the change. Who knows, you might start a “suckstart revolution” of like-minded people, derps. Please do the right thing.
