    So is this another one of those ‘geez now that I’m retired from decades of hammering on people and have my secure pension and benes I see I was wrong and want to stop the madness?’

    I mean, I’m glad you woke up and all, but where was this thinking when you were in the game?

    Why do these guys never ever speak up when they’re still on the job? They would have so much more impact and credibility.

    @philly, he seems to have more soul than you, and enough sense to both realize that if this former cop was sincere he should have spoken out against the drug war on day one, and to know that the drug war is as much a failure as alcohol prohibition was in the 1920′s.
