Individuals Wearing “Richmond PD” Badges Threaten Nate Cox, Free Speech

Update 2012.11.20 – the files are again accessible (links will expire on 2012.11.26) on ANON: Summary of Richmond Police Department Files from

Two days ago we posted to Anonymous LEAK: Richmond PD Internal Information Published Online, a repost from Virginia Cop Block founder Nate Cox, which itself was a repost of links posted by RVA Wingnut, to download 2,000 documents leaked from a criminal outfit known as “Richmond Police Department.”

It was unknown at that time the content of all those documents but in an effort to bring-about accountability through transparency, readers were encouraged to download and help sift through the information.

Cox described RVA Wingnut as:

primarily is a Anarchist Collective in Southern Barton Heights whom are affiliated with and to Cop Watch outreach & activism – as well as Virginia Cop Block

Cox had communicated to me that the RVA Wingnut folks had been visited by individuals who sought to intimidate them into censoring the information. Today they posted that “It looks like the RPD files that we linked to were taken offline at some point today.” And later added, “It appears that the police have now taken all the files down.”

The early afternoon of Friday, Nov. 16th, 2012 the same individuals, or some of their comrades, visited the house where Cox’s mom lives. They videotaped the property. This information came from a concerned neighbor. Then the house owned by Cox’s Grandmother was paid a visit. A tenant there explained that she didn’t feel comfortable taking their paperwork. Then this group of suspicious characters visited Cox at his work.

That interaction happened around 4pm on Friday, Nov. 16th, 2012. It was streamed live by Cox to his [to download].

The paperwork Cox was given was an “Order” [viewable in-full below]

prohibiting (1) Defendants from continuing to make the Confidential Information available to the public; and (2) requiring that the Defendants return to the Court any copies of any portion of the Confidential Information.

Let the folks who work at Richmond PD know censorship and intimidation isn’t cool

Today RVA Wingnut posted:

Today Mo Karnage and Nathan Cox were served with injunctions from the Richmond Police Department. The injunction documents were very vague, and seemed to be about the files recently linked to by Mo and Nathan on 2 websites-  Copblock and Wingnut.

The defendents are listed as Moriah Kahn (they can’t spell), The Richmond Wingnut Collective, Nathan Cox,, and Does 1-10 . . .

Important to note, is that typically injunctions are served by a process server. To have multiple cops hunting you down (they went to Nathan’s work, home, and mother’s home as well as Mo’s home, mother’s home, and friend’s home), some wearing tactical gear, is a pretty obvious intimidation tactic.

We are working on getting scans of the injunctions to post online for your viewing pleasure.

The City of Richmond Police Department is labeled as the plaintiff.

The injunction doesn’t say which files are the ones in question, just all of them. It appears that the police have now taken all the files down.

I made numerous calls on this illegal action against cox unlike most wannabes on this sight I love fighting bullies and know how to do it .
First for Pete the Phone number you call is 804-646-5100 the number you posted is a C.I. code in line. #2 I called the Circuit Court and talked with the Dishonerable Bevill Dean Court Clerk to find out how this bogus order was actually granted on behalf of RPD. Than I spoke to the Administrative office of Judges and Courts Adam Lorrell. I filed an injunction to dismiss this order against Cox. Through E File I filed a motion to dismiss do to a violation of freedom of the press and free speach. They stopped me than relayed a Phone number 804-627-4597 so I called the number they requested me to call . It was the FBI Anti Corruption Unit Specifically a unit that investigates Cops and Courts. There is an active investigation against that Circuit Court and RPD linked with a long history of bullshit. That paperwork was served to him by the US Marshall Service along with County Sherriffs 2 of each not RPD dumbasses none the less . I will keep you all informed on my filings . This pissed me off I had to do something as a concerned Citizen. t go fuck yourself and common dick sense use ductape 1 for your pez dispencing mouth and the other to wax the hair off your yellow ass.

Egad, “Anarchists… that says it all right there.”

What is an anarchist? Hmmm… according to Miriam Webster “a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power.” Seems like there’s a document adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 would be considered Anarchy as well.

Sadly, this Court Order is one big load of malarky. As this is a temporary order, RPD and it’s associates are looking for standing, of which I doubt they will find.

    Give ’em hell Nate.

  • shawn

That 1776 document wasn’t a call for no government, but for the colonies to be allowed to self govern.

Anarchy isn’t liberty. Under Anarchy, you are only as free as the next most powerful person allows you to be. True Anarchy, no government or law, is only Warlordism dressed up to look dignified.

  • John Q Public

@Centurion, I think you need to worry more about your fake military service than anything else. You sound more like one of those crazy soveriegn citizens than anything else.

@Big, if you think the founding fathers were anarchists, then why did they bother writing the constiution or the bill of rights? If they were “against any authority, established order, or ruling power,” I don’t think they would have made more laws, which goes opposite of what true anarchists want.

  • t.

CENTURION: Dude!!! Mom just give you your computer back? QP, I don’t know how much of CENTURION’S crap you’ve read. He’s as phoney as they come. Reports differ nets amounts of military experience with each post. Can’t e in keep how many “deployments” his supposedly had straight…the number changes every time. Then there was the time that his fake friends “Vinnke” showed up to defend him and he challenged me to come find him at a building that doesn’t exists. That doesn’t even begin to touch n his aledged 3 law degrees and then it turned into just 6 month in-depth constitution study class. This is still ignoring his 15 year old writing style and depth of understanding. He’s the biggest joke going around here. But he is excellent for comic relief.

  • Pep

Shawn, you are confusing the matter. One person believing in liberty doesn’t invalidate the existence of others who do not respect the liberty of others. It is not the adherent of anarchic self rule which instigates a ‘warlord state’. That would be the authoritarian’s belief system. That is exactly like blaming rape victims for the prevalence of the crime of rape rather than rapists.

But here is a good question, John Q: Under what authority, and on what grounds?

  • t.

The “rule of law” and the establishing of order lead us out of the feudal systems of the past. That which Pete (with his silly “voloteerist state”) is seeking a direct return to that type of society. Those with will get more, those without will be forced into virtual slavery.

The anarchist style is the same end. A return to a Warlord society.

Either way, no freedoms down those roads.

  • John Q Public

Pep, it was under the people’s authority. If the majority of the people didn’t want the constitution, it would have been thrown out. Obviously you must be one of those anarchists who want to do what they want, when they want with no consequences.

  • BigPoppaAZ

I don’t think that the FF’s were Anarchists, they fit the very definition of Anarchists: “a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power.”

Believe me, dear Sir: there is not in the British empire a man who more cordially loves a union with Great Britain than I do. But, by the God that made me, I will cease to exist before I yield to a connection on such terms as the British Parliament propose; and in this, I think I speak the sentiments of America.
    —Thomas Jefferson, November 29, 1775

The FF’s voted to declare independence from Great Britain, i.e., the “Ruling Power”, via the Declaration of Independence. (@Shawn) Anarchy is one, of a plethora of paths to Liberty.

The issue with your statement “Anarchists… that says it all right there.”, denotes a a hint of disdain for these individuals (RVA WINGNUTS) for not accepting/embracing the status quo. Much like the Founding Father’s did not with Great Britain. The distinction you attempt to make, i.e., they’re not truly anarchists in the sense of anarchy as they enacted the Articles of Confederation (Anarchy Lite, maybe?). Doesn’t hold water, by definition even having adopted a Rule of Law, they were Anarchists from a Ruling Power they did not enjoin, and whom did not want to relinquish power.

I may not agree with the RVA Wingnut Political Philosophy, hell I may be vehemently against it. However, prior to writing them off due to a label, I’ll review their stance, and decide accordingly.
In this instance the RPD have overstepped their bounds, found a conciliatory court for a temporary injunction, and are actively tilting at windmills.

Dooh, did anyone get the files on to thepiratebay?

Next time a leak like this happens, copy and upload to thepiratebay.

No information held by the government should be secret or confidential. The government is subservient to the people. The slave does not keep secrets from the master.

  • Pep

Well I am a person, John Q. A plurality of voices has no more moral weight than a single man demanding something of me against my will.

And no, I act in recognition to actions having consequences, not in spite of this. The political elite however takes action without regard to the negative consequences applied to others insomuch that it does not harm their position/career.

I think you need to do more research before you offer specific Thomas Jefferson quotes. There were a few reasons behind the revolutionary war. The main reason was the potential to have people subjugated under the english crown. Citizens being taxed without representation and so on. Here is a link that offers a good description as to what Great Britain was doing and why the colonists became fed up.

Here is my favourite 2 sentences from the above linked artlcle:

The Quartering Act was also significant because it gave British troops the right to force Colonists to take care of them in their homes whether they liked it or not. The Intolerable Acts took away all the Colonist’s rights and limited their freedom.

Now, I am not going to quibble over terminology as to whether you believe they were “anarchists” in the usual sense it is used but there was a design and a purpose and it was to eventually create a government that would be governed by the people, for the people so that we can live in a lawfull, organized society.

Here is my favourite Thomas Jefferson quote:

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
    Thomas Jefferson

I think it is clear as to why the revolutionary war happened and what they thought of the governmental potential under Great Britain!

  • BigPoppaAZ

Your Jefferson quote is an excellent one. Here’s a few others:

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
    Thomas Jefferson

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
    Thomas Jefferson

Now, back to the topic at hand, your thoughts on the RPD, requested Court Order, and attempts to silence and intimidate citizens in Richmond?
