This week a Tucson Cop Blocker was taking pictures of the local Federal Building when he was approached by a Federal security agent asking him to stop and demanding his identification. He did a great job standing his ground stating he is on a public sidewalk and has every right to film and take photos of anything he pleases. Of course this angered the man with a badge, so he called the local police.
However, the Cop Blocker simply walked off before they ever arrived, if they did.
For clarification on his “POST Certified” question to the security guard: http://www.azpost.state.az.us

Nicely done!
Should a lawsuit be filed? After all he said he was detaining you, and he doesn’t have that right. Basically you have film of him committing false imprisonment against you.
Wal-Mart called….they want their Badges back.
@txjazzman OMGF wal-mart LOLOLOL!
I am a security guard, and this incident probably made his ‘career’ worthwhile. I don’t know where my industry gets these wannabee, and don’t care. Just keep them off my post. The wannabees and formers do everything but the job they were supposed to be doing in the first place.
Tucson police probably laughed when they got the information on the ‘incident’. Another guard who thinks he is a cop. And he doesn’t even know the law he’s claiming as justification.
If his bosses had seen that, his job would have been toast. You should have stayed and collected the check.
Even though you are a potential threat to security he still won’t look at you
He is asked if he is certified and you can see the guards face just drop like he just went “oh crap, who is this guy”. Then he wanted nothing more to do with him.
The rent-a-cop still won because he intimidated the guy away. The better thing to do would be to continue photographing and carrying on as you were. Just ignore the ignoramus.
He’s armed and told you that you were being detained. You should have called 911.
An armed man with no legal jurisdiction on the public sidewalk attempting to detain a person in WI is a crime. A pretty serious one at that. Obviously this isn’t in WI but it is something I’d look into.
Excellent job of keeping your cool and asserting your rights!
Thanks HONORYOUROATH!!! I love your videos.
@CBT,
Nice job. Well handled, you exercised your rights and hopefully educated, somewhat, FPS Valdez.
