Police are hunting for a former cop turned cop killer in Southern California. It appears they are also hunting innocent women who drive Nissan Titans. 2 Nissan Titans have been shot up so far resulting in 1 woman being shot in the hand and another shot in the back.
According to The La Times:
Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.
The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.
It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside.
Shows their incompetence. Open and fire is their motto. Cops must be color blind too. While shooting these innocent people, I hope this cop killer gets to these cops and many more cops and let Christopher Dorner live long and prosperous. Two thumbs up to you, Christopher Dorner. I just read a story about another case of mistaken identity where someone was driving a truck similar to the one the police were looking for, so they rammed the vehicle and opened fire–fortunately that person is still okay. Interesting to note his specific statements that he has gathered intel on the movements and that he can target familiy members of active and retired LAPD cops. And now at least one cop, minus one daughter and her fiance, knows that he is able to do exactly that.

In all likelihood, these were not mistaken identity shootings by the LAPD. Nor were the officers involved “scared” or “incompetent”. Case in point. Anytime you hear the media, police, or government talking about “officer safety” ALWAYS ask about human safety. Police are humans and will benefit from the consideration of human safety.
If you dislike an aspect of a given profession, perhaps don’t engage in that profession. Delivering pizzas is why I started carrying a gun in the first place. Well I’ve now had time to look at this more closely. I read the first half of the manifesto. After talking about guns and how great Obama is, I knew we were past anything that would explain his actions and move into “now that I have your ear…” territory. The irony being that the way police are responding to all this is EXACTLY why the people who need all the implements he questions public possession of. Which of course I continue to stand by “the items exist, I prefer they be in the hands of people that won’t use them improperly.”
I support his cause. It might be unfashionable. People might say “this isn’t the best way to go about change.” But the man apparently tried, well beyond the point of patience that most people would have, to do it “the right way.” We as Americans NEED our authorities to fear us. ESPECIALLY if that fear is born from potential repercussions of dishonorable acts.
I’m glad that not all police forces are this corrupt. The thing is that the smaller forces look up to and try to emulate what the bigger ones engage in. What’s not to like about being able to commit a crime, get away with it, AND get a paid vacation out of it?
I live in greater Toledo, which is a GREAT example. Toledo has some real crime, so Toledo police aren’t too eager to waste their time on a burned out tail light for example. Some of the surrounding suburbs though, with much less crime and much higher incomes, won’t approach a burned out tail light with fewer than 3 cruisers, all lighting up the night and disturbing sleeping residents for the sake of “their safety.”
The only thing about all this that really bothers me is that ANY time authorities’ cages get rattled, they always clamp down on everybody, turning an even blinder eye to our rights in favor of their own desires.
Oh and don’t forget that the truck they shot up was blue. The suspect’s truck was grey and had actually been burned up already.

Sounds like Dorner did something I’ve advocated (target families to get at the cops). The odd thing to me is, Dorner KNEW who his targets were, and had REASONS to target specific individuals.
You hot families when you are trying to injure others who are beyond your normal reach. Use them as bargaining chips to get the officers to uphold their oaths.
But targeting them FIRST seems extreme, when you know who you’re looking for. You have a target, you have time, you find out their schedules, take them out. (Revenge vs Punishment, perhaps. Revenge was his objective, I thought. Guess eh wants to punish the world for his injuries. I understand doing so, in general; not in this case. Better ways to make things stick out. I’m curious if the cops who opened fire on the civilians have been apprehended yet. Terrified and stressed are not valid excuses for attempted murder. These cops need to be put behind bars as they are clearly a threat to public safety. One can only hope that a hacktivist group can publicly identify the shooters hiding behind their badges & bureaucratic procedure.
The fascists are always telling us that normal citizens can’t be trusted with guns because they’ll turn the streets into a vigilante shooting gallery with the blood of the innocents streaming into the sewers.
Yet, over and over and over again, it is the police who fire 100 rounds to put 10 holes into one guy. Or they’ll fire 100 rounds and hit the guy they want to hit twice and hit 5 or 6 innocent people. Or they’ll have a case of “mistaken identity” and straight up murder a few innocents. Oops, our mistake.

The real question in this is what sort of change will this unfortunate series of events actually bring about? It’s near certain that Dorner will die by the end of all of this. But, how will society be affected by this? Will change be for the better? Considering the affect 9/11/2001 had on this country, I don’t foresee things getting any better for folks who believe in the rights and equality of all. Hopefully, more people across this country open their eyes to the double-standards and injustice which happen daily at the hands of those sworn to protect.

I found an article on this on the Police Misconduct Twitter feed posted 5 hrs ago and i found their lawyer making this statement:

There is nothing about that statement that is false. They showed piss poor gun discipline. It reminded me of the NOPD during Hurricane Katrina where the 2nd amendment was suspended and guns taken away from citizens and yet it was the police who murdered 2 citizens. kind of ironic huh?

No matter what he has done. The cops should maintain self control and be held accountable for what they did. It was wrong, and you know it as well as I do. Yet no meaningful discipline. Just excuses from their boss. This is why Cop Block and others are popping up.

On average, the accuracy rate for (overall) police shootings is around 18-25%. The suspect typically has better percentages as he is ‘acting’ not ‘reacting’ and has already made the mental decision to fire.
If you want to see some ‘spraying’ go watching some helmet cams. Who the fuck knows what they are aiming at or hitting, other than trees and dirt. Oh well I guess.

I would say the people can feel safe from cops again now that it is over but I don’t think people will feel safe around cops ever again. The only thing we can feel safe about is that cops are such bad shots.
