   Wichita KS police officer Officer Joseph T. McGill, 28, was convicted today of committing a sexual act on a 3-month-old child and a 1-year-old child. Officer McGill pleaded guilty in January 2012 in an unrelated case to sexual battery while on duty as a police officer and was sentenced to three years probation. Those charges stemmed from separate incidents in November 2010 and February 2011. The judge set sentencing for March 1.

   Why do you say “THIS IS WHO THEY ARE”
   What is your opinion that “THIS IS WHAT THEY STAND FOR” based on?
   Where do you see evidence that “THIS IS WHAT THEY DEFEND”

   This site is not a rant for hating on police. I have seen this posted numerous times on this site(probably by you) and would like to know what you base it on.

   Hmm…fact’s don’t appear to support your statement. As there were no drugs on this young mans person, nor found in his system. What we have here is a citizen leading his life in a normal fashion, and then egregiously arrested by MPD, for nothing more than being in their purview. Even the police reports from the arresting officers don’t match up. MPD and the DA’s office are doubling down their efforts to intimidate this young man and his family. Sadly, there is a need for a Good Attorney, to make this all go away.

   As for “Money” this young man has been abused by those employed under the public trust, and he deserves a steep settlement from the City. When it pans out that this was an erroneous arrest, and it will, he should go after the LEO’s of MPD, personally. Keep an eye out on this case, it’s going to bite Milwaukee and the MPD in their asses.
