Video: Police terrorize 10 year old child

I know this is an older video, but its one that I have never seen and wanted to share. I hope this cop feels like a real HERO. Seriously, ten years old? What did this kid do, not eat his dinner or take out the trash?

This poor child will forever remember being handcuffed by police when he was 10 years old. I hate to say this, but when police say “why does the public hate us”… this video is a perfect example. When the cops says “I’m going to take you to jail,” you can hear the little giggle in her voice. To me that is a very sick.

A police officer abusing powers … you are being redundant!

This is making my stomach all achy.
This is why we all need to do the simple act of teaming up, and getting rid of these life-ruiners. For good. Way to many people around me (everyone, though) getting put in jail… and children especially shouldn’t be put there anyway. Regardless of anything.

I’d like to know the story behind this. What could a 10 year old little boy, what the hell ever color, have done for that woman to cuff him. He was obviously not resisting, he didn’t even mouth off.

Before people get all bent out of shape over this officer, we need to know the whole story. Perhaps this kid just stole something from a store and the officer was giving him a taste of what it’s like to be arrested to teach him a lesson. You can say she was terrorizing the child, but we don’t know what happened before this clip. It could disuade the child from being a little hoodlum. We don’t know.

I’d like to personally appear at her funeral and say:
“Nah ah ah ah, none of this tear stuff.”

Ok… up front, I don’t like most cops. The job attracts bullies and institutionalizes their behavior. That said, I’ve heard of 10yr olds committing murder and assault, drug trafficking and other gang activity. We don’t know what happened to get this kid arrested, but a 10yr old can do way more and worse than “not eat his dinner or take out the trash”.

Now ‘Kevin’ may have done nothing, and I doubt that a 10yr old, guilty or innocent, can truly ‘understand’ his rights, especially while he’s in a highly emotional state. In fact, I doubt that many adults would truly ‘understand’ while in such a condition. But the joy with which this officer collects her bounty and the callousness with which she carries out her duty is abhorrent. Maybe it’s because she can intimidate a young child, so she does. Or because she is white and he is black, so she’s taking her bigotry out on someone she can easily overpower. Nonetheless, I refer back to the previous paragraph and reiterate that the job attracts bullies, and here is a case in point.

  9. According to a comment on YouTube, the “full story” is as follows:

“I remember seeing the full video on some news outlet. Kevin was running with a bad crowd and getting into trouble, grandma got tired of telling Kevin to stop getting into trouble or he’d end up in jail (I think his parents are serving time). Kevin got in trouble at school for something (I can’t remember what for). So she called the local police dept. and asked if they’ed be willing to come over and teach Kevin a lesson. He sat in the car for 10 min. and promised he would change.”
