DISCLAIMER: I know the title of the video says “pig gone wild.” I did not film this or write that, nor do I feel that way. I am just re-posting this video.
I do feel this officer really needs to take some anger management classes though.
What really bothers me in this video is when the person on a bike asks why he is being ticketed, the officer has no idea and takes out his statute book to try and find a reason to issue a ticket. In the last five seconds of the video the officer comes up with “fleeing and eluding charges”

These Critical Mass people are a fucking nuisance. I’m not justifying the cops, but I fail to see the assault in the first video.
The copper is blocking that lane and is way outside of the Totalitarian asshole zone.
God, I hate when these idiot cyclists do critical mass.
Yes, critical Mass is bullshit. They’re alienating and infuriating people who don’t ride bikes. I have to be late for work because you think I should be riding a bicycle and not driving my car? Well, you may have the right to choose your means of locomotion, but when you ride in the middle of the street and block traffic, you;re impeding my right to do the same. It’s like if pot smokers went down the street, blocking people’s right of way, and blowing huge bong rips in their face as a means of advocating for legalization. Clearly, that has the opposite affect. And because of that, what happens is, when the cops unload on one of these bikers, the populace doesn’t care. They cheer it one, they applaud it, because they can’t stand the Critical Massers.
Nonetheless, this cop is abusing his authority and screwing with this guy for no reason other than the above, which just isn’t his job.

Ok, so for all of the people bashing the cop, what do you think he should have done? Now I know you’re all going to say, “Go away and let them ride in peace.” The first minute shows the riders disobeying direct orders from the police. They’re asked multiple times to move off to the right and not only do they ignore the cops, but one guy yells “F#$% YOU!” Name one other situation in life where you can tell a cop to f#$% off and NOT get at least a citation. You can’t because it doesn’t exist. He’s not profiling or being overly aggressive. He’s getting pissed off at a group of law breakers, disobeying his direct orders and telling him to “F#$% OFF!”
Maybe, just maybe, if the riders had cooperated and stayed to the right, the cop wouldn’t have pulled the cyclist over. Maybe, just maybe, if the guy had pulled over instead of being a smart ass, the cop might not have gotten pissed and this situation wouldn’t have escalated. There is no use of excessive force and any “harassment charge” would be thrown out of court especially with the evidence in this video. This is typical of what we seen in most Critical Mass reports though. The riders escalating the situation and provoking officers and they creaming harassment when the officer responds. I’m not saying there aren’t cases where cops have taken it way too far, but this video is certainly not one of them.
