Sgt. Rob Wins, You Lose!
I’m sure Rob Woessner is a great guy that made a mistake, or he’s one who regularly abuses the arbitrary authority given to him . Rob is employed as a police officer in Waldwick, NJ. This week instead of heading to work at 7 am like usual, Rob drove to near by Waldwick, NJ to partake in Devon Fine Jewelry’s “treasure hunt” – celebrating their 32nd year of business. Luckily Rob didn’t have people to protect or crimes to solve because he found treasure #9 in record time – 2 mins (see pic). I wonder what the response time is to a crime in Waldwick, NJ?
Of course I’d link to the Facebook picture of Sgt. Rob and the caption that was posted with it but it seems Nancy – owner of Devon’s Fine Jewelry – had the picture pulled after our phone call. Wonder what her customers will think of her assisting in the cover up of a police officer using tax dollars for personal gain. I was able to up take screen shots before the pictures were pulled from Facebook.

Waldwick Police Station 15 East prospect St, HoHoKus Bagels 7 North Franklin Tpke, HoHoKus..The route Rob would have to travel from the PD is a 25 MPH speed limit and mapquest estimates the driving time as 3 minutes..@ 1.05 miles..obviously to get to the drop zone he had to be doing close to 60 (1 mile per minute) as he had to navigate 3 traffic lights also..Just thought you would like to know.
Rob was working at Waldwick PD and drove to nearby HoHoKus while working, and in a police car..
He won the jewelry at HoHoKus Bagels in Hohokus..He looked for other jewels at Celery Farm (Allendale) and Dunkin Donuts in Wyckoff..All on different days during this week.
