Founder of Police Alternative – The Threat Management Center – to Speak in California

Dale Brown – founder of Detroit’s Threat Management Center – “Brings real solutions to difficult problems” according to the tagline of an event happening this Thursday in Oroville, California, at which Dale is speaking. I couldn’t agree more.

Dale and his colleagues are revolutionizing the service of protection. If you’re within driving distance, grab a friend and go hear for yourself.

When: Thursday March 19, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM PDT
Where: Southside Oroville Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road, Oroville, CA 95966

The dinner/speaking event promises to be thought-provoking to all who attend.

From the Threat Management Center:

The objective of our organization is to make the world safer by denying the opportunity for violence to take place. By using tactical psychology, tactical law, and tactical skills, we create conditions which, by design, are not conducive for violence. V.I.P.E.R.S. Threat Management emphasizes the use of deterrence, detection, and defense to achieve non-violent outcomes.

The event is sponsored by Butte County Liberty Rising:

We are hard-core into liberty. Our members include people from all different political walks of life: Libertarians, Minarchists, Anarcho-Capitalists. Republicans, Democrats, Decline to states. People who have an entire philosophy of liberty and those who only care about single issues. Those who vote and those who don’t. We are here to get all freedom lovers collaborating.

In February of 2012 I posted a write-up to CopBlock.org titled, “Frustrated, Detroit Residents Compete with Police.” Included on the story was a picture of Dale Brown, founder of the Threat Management Center.

A year later, when I knew I was to roll through Detroit as part of the Cop Block Tour, I reached-out to Dale, who graciously welcomed me at his facility.

In November, 2013, I headed back to Detroit as part of the Police Accountability Tour.
