Virgil Vaduva, of TruthVoice.com and active CopBlocker (disclosure: also a personal friend of mine), was part of a group of Southern Ohio folks who CopBlocked a checkpoint on St. Patty’s Day. Below is Virgil’s video of the event:
Virgil wasn’t the only media outlet there, the group drew the attention of some local media too. Here’s that video:
From the two videos you can tell it was a slow night on both sides. One officer tried to avoid Virgil’s camera while attempting to stalk the group of CopBlockers and though the cops stopped 500 cars, no one was arrested. IMO, that means this night was a great success for the Ohio based CopBlockers. I heard they were even bought a round of drinks from a local bar owner who appreciated their work.
This was an excellent CopBlock with all the key components such as cameras, signs and media coverage. To further your knowledge visit CopBlock.org’s Resource page, where you can find information about other CopBlock.org Groups, camera gear, filming the police and much much more.
