Delaware Cop Indicted After He Kicks Man In Face
DOVER, Del. — The Delaware Attorney General’s Office has indicted a Dover cop on assault charges.
Video footage from a dash cam shows the uniformed thug, Thomas Webster, approaching Latif Dickerson following a fight in 2013. In the video, Webster orders Dickerson to the ground. As Dickerson complies, Officer Webster kicks him in the face, without justification, knocking him unconscious and breaking his jaw.
In 2014, a grand jury failed to indict Webster and the U.S. Attorney’s Office determined it wasn’t a civil rights violation. Subsequently, the ACLU sued the Dover police department.
The Attorney General’s Office brought the case before a second grand jury that indicted him on assault charges on Monday.
