Ohio CopBlocker Mike Skidmore Arrested at Town Council Meeting

11209563_866061423449264_2323019255657097828_nOhio CopBlocker Mike Skidmore is in custody tonight, as he has been involved in a scuffle at the Richland County Courthouse in Mansfield Ohio. Details are sketchy at best right now but, this man has been accused of not vacating a council meeting room. He was recording the events, and of course his video is being held as evidence at this time.

We will have to wait and see if Mike is ok, and if his video will survive. According to the officer at the press conference there is also video from inside the room that the courthouse was recording. Again we will have to wait and see what happened exactly. The officer describes Mike touching some court clerk to try and get video of her name badge.

This was a live stream video, but if you fast forward to about, 17:35, a representative of Richland County Sheriff’s office will come and explain their version of what went on. I’m going to wait to talk to Mike to hear his side, and see if he has video somehow that hasn’t been confiscated by the police. Sounds more to me like they didn’t want him recording and he stood for his right to record, but we will see.
