Freedom Activist Shuts Down Former Cop and Soldier
While on his American Campfire Tour, Adam Kokesh was confronted by an aggressive group of proverbial flag wavers, one of which was a former soldier and cop who refused to have an intellectual conversation, but instead was intent on taking Adam outside and beating his ass, as if being able to best Kokesh in mutual combat would prove that his argument was in some way superior to Adam’s.
His exact words were, “If you have something bad to say about the year-and-a-half that I spent there, we can discuss it outside,” insinuating that any opinion contrary to the “I fight for your freedom, so shut the fuck up” rhetoric would result in a swift and hearty ass whooping.
Do you also find it contrary to the principles of freedom to threaten with violence someone whose rights you claim to protect if they use those rights to verbalize an opinion contrary to yours?
The cop soldier refused to offer intellectual criticisms. Adam used his words and well-thought-out rhetoric regarding government violence to not only deter a physical altercation but also educate the individual and eventually persuade him to agree with him.
This is evidence for a fundamental misunderstanding of individual freedom and liberty on the part of the soldiers and cops who claim to fight for your freedom. They will in fact use force to silence you, when you exercise that very freedom they claim to protect.
