Austin Cop Tazes and Stuns Homeless Woman

A homeless woman was sitting on a bench in downtown Austin and the police asked her to get up. She clearly was incapable of fully complying with the orders and appeared to be mentally ill. One of the officers tazed the woman and then after the tazing ordered her to put her hands behind her back. That’s when the video began. She had one hand behind her back and her other was passively up near the side of her face. The officer then used what appeared to be a stun gun on her neck and claimed that she was resisting. She was clearly not aggressive or dangerous to herself or the officer.
