Similar incident to the teacher at the DMV

OMG! I had a similar situation (to that of the DMV story recently posted to CopBlock.org) happen to me and I was so flabergasted.

I was at Golden Corral in Panama City, Fl and an employee was terribly rude to me, so I got the manager’s attention and told him. He went off on me and said that maybe I was the one with the attitude. At this point I just told him to give me my money back and I would leave. My friend returned to the table to witness the manager/owner yelling at me and my friend jumped to my defense. We kept saying that if he would just refund our money (because neither of us had eaten a bite), we would leave and never come back. He refused, so I called the police and went outside to wait for them. I sat there not causing any problem and when they arrived, the manager/owner ran outside and started telling them his story. The cops would not let us explain anything and told us we were being trespassed. The manager/owner said he would refund our money if we came back the next day to get it. My friend said ” You just treapassed me and now you tell me to come back”? We didn’t want to show up and have him call the cops and have us arrested for trespassing. The cops were totally on his side and we were treated like criminals. My friend is a 65 year old disabled Vet and I am 49 and worked as a 911 operator for 11 years. We are law abiding citizens and we were treated like trash on the word of the business owner.
