CopBlock.org’s Improved Look and New Features
Yep, this is CopBlock.org and no we haven’t sold out. We’re still the same old decentralized website dedicated to educating folks about the reality of policing today. But before we get to the improvements a special thanks to Liberty Web Alliance, Clayton Gee and Pete Eyre for all spending the day with me revamping the site.
So to the goodies.
Our first goal, as we’re still cleaning up dust, was to provide a smoother, cleaner interaction while increasing the amount of content available to you. We’ve done that by adding the slider for our featured post, double navigation bars for browsing, new Twitter (pro) app which includes Injustice Everywhere and a recent videos section for CB.org’s YouTube channel.
The second goal of the makeover was to install a CopBlock.org Forum, which Pete took the lead on. We’re confident that participation will take care of its needs, considering many of you suggested this feature via our FB page (thank you), but for now CB.org contributor Rob will moderate the forum along with the other contributors (please be patient as we figure out the process). For now, enjoy conversation in such forums as strategy & tactics, police encounters and connecting yourself with other CopBlockers across the globe. Please visit the suggestion forum as well, we’ve love to hear your feedback on the site.
I’d like to thank all the CopBlock.org contributors, readers, critics and police who make this site possible. It’s amazing what CB.org has become with nothing more than spontaneous order. We’re looking forward to our continued growth and are looking to you to be a part of it. All we need are video cameras and a network and we’ll end the monopoly on protection. Keep those cameras rolling, free keene.
