Officer James Palermo didn’t like college student Lexy Alpha walking too close to his traffic stop. When he confronted her for no reason, she questioned his authority do so, causing Officer Palermo to snap, throwing Lexy violently face first into the concrete, breaking her four front teeth and racking up medical bills totaling $14,000.

This incident was noticed by Antonio Buehler and the Peaceful Streets Project as an example of a possible “Good Cop” police Chief Williams who arrested Officer Palermo and filed charges against him.
