In Myrtle Beach, SC , an officer responded to a 911 call. The call stated that a man was being attacked on his own property. When the officer arrived, the aggressor was seen removing a red bandana and another object wrapped in a towel from his car and running to his house to hide the bandanna and the concealed item. The officer asked the victim what happened, and the victim told the officer the man had attacked him; three eyewitnesses told the officer the same. The witnesses told the officer where the suspect lived and the officer went and spoke to him. The suspect admitted to attacking the victim and threatening to shoot him to the officer. The suspect continued to make threats towards the victim in front of the officer. The officer told the victim she KNEW the suspect and that she would not arrest him. She also stated that she did not “feel like writing a report.” Despite multiple eyewitnesses at the scene, despite the suspect threatening the victim with a gun, despite the officer watching the man hide a gun, no report was made. No arrest was made.
After the police left, the suspect immediately broke into the victim’s house and beat him half to death. The victim is scared to call the police again. I, and multiple other eyewitnesses, saw the whole incident. This was a perversion of justice in its worst form. The others who saw the whole incident and I are trying to get any help we can to help the victim and his family. The officer is “officer” Walker, of the Myrtle Beach Police Department. Is there anything you can do to help this victim and his family? This needs to be reported, but we do not know who to report it to. Obviously we cannot call the same cops… Please help. The witnesses are in fear this man will seek revenge on us for trying to turn him in; he is a known gang member who was just released from prison, is armed and extremely dangerous. He is still lurking in the area where our children play. Please don’t let this go ignored. CAN ANYBODY HELP?
