Philadelphia Police Officer Jonathan Josey achieved notoriety for punching a woman in the face during the Puerto Rican Day parade last year – and getting caught on tape. Not only was he found “not guilty” by a biased judge, but he recently has been rehired by the Philadelphia Police Force with full benefits and back pay. Many people are outraged, but not many know the full extent of Josey’s violent past. I had the opportunity to interview a family that has personally witnessed Josey’s volatile insanity and have published the full story here:
Now that Josey is back on the police force, it’s all the more important to share this story and spread the word about his transgressions. I remain hopeful that someday, somehow, he will be brought to justice.
