Jose Vela on Dallas Cop Block & Policing the Police

Jose Vela took some time when at the 2nd Annual Police Accountability Summit to share with us his motivations for founding Dallas Cop Block, a few anecdotal stories from his time patrolling, and some tactics and resources he finds informative. Vela concludes by encouraging viewers to not wait until something negative happens to them, but to be proactive, and to get involved today.

I was excited to meet Vela – I’ve really appreciated his positive demeanor, entrepreneurialism, and ongoing efforts to help keep his community safe.
