The Police State Grows – TSA Expands Past Airports
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has expanded outside of airports. Playing off the “see something, say something” campaign the government created to further the fear of terrorist attacks. The TSA is hitting the interstates to fight terrorism with Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR). Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons said, “Where is a terrorist more apt to be found? Not these days on an airplane more likely on the interstate.”
Bill must think the only way to stop terrorism is to violate your right to be free from unwarranted search and seizures. Maybe Bill and his TSA co-workers should research blowback and try stopping terrorism where it starts – with wars and controlling governments. Speaking of more likely. You’re more likely to be killed by a government agent than you are a terrorist. Security theater at its finest, see video below for more on their lastest act.
