Georgia Sand

Location: California

Georgia (“George”) began writing for Cop Block in early 2010, having long been deeply moved by issues of justice and individual liberties and freedoms. A common theme in her articles is the idea that  violence, torture, robbery, and murder are not rendered acceptable or just simply because they are committed by people in uniforms. She advocates change through voluntary means and opposes initiation of force and coercion to effect change.

She works as an attorney in the field of civil litigation (unrelated to issues of criminal justice) and enjoys blogging, soccer, music, and drinking beer in her spare time.
