Antique Town Marshal Badge - Patriot, Indiana.

A very unique and rare badge. This is a very old Town Marshal star for Patriot, Indiana. The badge has great patina for its age. The badge is hallmarked CH Hanson of Chicago and is 2 1/2 inches from tip to tip. It is in excellent shape for its age. The badge is circa early 1900's, saddle pin/hook.

Incorporated in 1848, Patriot, Indiana is the easternmost settlement of the State and is the only incorporated town in the United States with that patriotic name. It is also on the Lewis and Clark Historic Trail.

Great piece of Americana History and a very nice piece of law enforcement memorabilia.
