Part of the May 2019 Marshall Missouri estate sale lot purchase which contained iconic tintypes of William Henry McCarty, daguerreotypes of his mother and grandmother, cabinet cards and many other tintypes including that of him as a child; his father, brother and other unidentified photos.I will be posting more from this lot in the near future. If you would like to invest in experts to authenticate message me and we can set up a time for your people to observe before purchase. Provenance is the lot itself. I have the address of the house the estate sale was held so its just s matter of retrieving information of previous owners from the city hall or courthouse.

The lot contains evidence that Billy the Kid lived past his alleged death. My deduction is that these heirloom photos came directly from the granddaughter of Billy himself.

Even if these historically important images don’t sell i can rest easy that they will have been preserved and recorded for the future. I find myself in complete amazement that the discovery occurred. I had sold the the three nice daguerreotypes in July 2019. It was not til mid Oct 2019 that i made the discovery of the significance of the images.
