One original Pro-Tec Bump Helmet modified for military use with Norotos NVG bracket & strap. Flat black with a black snake skin pattern painted over it. Nearly new, 2020 manufacturing date!
These helmets are worn by most service branches when Non-Ballistic helmets are in order. Come with a pair of Tan ESS Striker Goggles which are worn, somewhat brittle but still useable with good elastics and lenses(see pics) They came with the helmet so I kept them on.
Purchased the whole rig from a recently retired Navy guy who was on a police SWAT team after the service so I'm not sure when he used it.A really great example of a bump helmet modified for military use....the last few images show examples of this helmet type in use. It is in a new / used shape and shows signs of wear but the pads are clean as is the whole helmet.
It hasplenty of male & female Velcro for patches, gear, goggles, etc. Includes a US Velcro flag. Great for any Airsoft players and Paintballers out there. It would make an awesomebike or skate helmet and/or good to have incase of any local unrest!
It is sized Large.....I take a Large and this fits fine on me, it is really comfortable and it was great on display in my collection but its time to make some room, I will be listing others over time.Great for any militaria collector or Airsoft / Paintball player but it would also make a great Bike or Skate helmet as a GoPro could probably mount in the NVG Shroud, also good for home defense and the Zombie Apocalypse.Sold as a military / airsoft collectible only, buyer assumesresponsibilityupon purchase & ownership.
