This is a fabulous piece of memorabilia! A Missouri State Highway Patrol Officer originally wore this.

The bottom part of the badge says, "Sales populi suprema lex esto" which means, "The welfare of the people shall be the supreme law". This is the Motto of Missouri. It also says ina circle around the center of the badge "United We Stand, Divided We Fall".

This badge depiction is on the center of the Missouri State Flag.
