vintage police chief uniform hat cap.This is a vintage Police chief hat that I believe could be from the 1950's or 60's. I'm dating this by the union label and the fabric it is made of, which is wool and dacron. This fabric was used extensively during the 50' and 60's. It's a dark grey color, it has a gold tone metal emblem on the front with the word chief. Has a silver tone metal band around the front half of the hat. Has decorative embroidery on the bill of the hat. It was made by J.B. Battle Uniform Company, OKC, Oklahoma. The size says it's a 7 1/4. It has it's original Union label. I'm not sure what town this was originally from but I purchased it in Bristow, OK. The hat is in good condition, with no rips, tears, stains, or moth holes. Would make a great to your law enforcement collection. Don't miss it! Thanks for looking!
