Pedestrians Halted by Police for “Sobriety Tests”

Submitted by DEO of Greater Cleveland CopBlock

When: 8-27-14
Individuals Responsible: Cleveland police employees

Cleveland police employees set up a “driver’s license checkpoint,” and proceed to halt two pedestrians on the sidewalk, demanding that they take “sobriety tests” (minute 3:45).

Do you have the right to travel unmolested on public roads? To walk unmolested on public sidewalks? Who owns you?
